When you hear the band name “Bloody Death Skull” you might anticipate a metal band of some sort, perhaps a fringe genre with a lot of screaming, maybe some face paint or burning crosses.  However, you would be falling into a trap, because Bloody Death Skull is a huge misnomer for their 50s/60s sound.  Imagine a beach movie from that period, and you’ve probably got a good idea of what I’m talking about.  Their own words for Bloody Death Skull are “creative absurdity.”

This video, “Betsy’s Back” was released last month, closing out the year with a fresh video.  It is a stop motion Barbie doll frolick.  The dolls are missing limbs, heads, and sometimes clothes, as Bloody Death Skull practices this exercise in creative absurdity.
