DeathbyRomy - No More

DeathbyRomy's "No More" is proof that bending genres is totally possible, and she does it creatively. The combination of hip hop drums and a Spanish sample that starts off the song, foreshadows her sexy entrancing vocal melodies. Her lyrics seem to express darker sides of her personality as an artist, yet her intriguing phrasing will take your ears on a melodic adventure.

When she was asked what the story behind her name was, Death by Romy replied.

"Death By Romy was the name I came up with for myself when I was 15. At the time I was struggling a lot with my depression and suicidal thoughts I didn’t think much of myself and felt very alone, I wanted to die because I didn’t have enough hope in myself until I realized I was the only one stopping myself from really believing I was beautiful or work this life. So I said why not try to claim being something dark and bright since that’s just who I am."

Her song "No More" definitely stays true to this statement and what she stands for as a person and artist. She is authentic, dark, light, and she reminds us to embrace our flaws and embrace life's journey.
