No Pasado (EP)
No Futuro exists in the space between memory and erasure. Reconvened in Seattle after a quarter century of silence, producer/composer Jeremy Moss and vocalist Roderick Wolgamott (of Sky Cries Mary) have stripped the project to its essential core — slow, dub-soaked beats rising like groundwater beneath Roderick's voice, which moves between poetry, prophecy, and the last words of something unnamed.
Their new EP, No Pasado, features guitar from Kevin Whitworth of Seattle underground legends Love Battery, and was mixed and mastered by Jack Endino — the architect of the Seattle sound. It carries that lineage in its bones while refusing to belong to any moment in particular. This is music with no past and no future. Only the weight of right now.
Lou Reed at the edge of the city. Massive Attack in the hours before dawn. Seefeel dissolving into static. No Pasado is four songs that sound like they've always existed, somewhere just out of reach.
