With a mystic air, distinctive vocals and candid lyrics, singer/songwriter Elyse Haren and her Los Angeles based Alternative Pop band, Elyse + the Aftermath, are making retro, modern. With timeless melodies mashed with the defiance of 2014 electronic-acoustic pop, they are about to release their second album, Love & Armour— fully funded by their fans through Pledge Music, with a portion of the funds raised to be donated to the Keep a Breast Foundation. They’ve shared the stage with world-famous pop band Berlin and have toured the Southwestern Unites States three times, most notably to Austin, Texas to play the acclaimed SxSw Music Festival in 2011.
