FESTIVAL PREVIEW: BACK TO THE BEACH

Written by

Summer is not even here yet and a concert is knocking on our door. KROQ is back at it again and we’re going back to BACK TO THE BEACH next to the beautiful Pacific Ocean in the heart of Huntington Beach for a two-day music festival this April 27th & 28th. The lineup includes: Blink-182, The Used, Goldfinger (w/ special guests), Reel Big Fish, The Story So Far, Anthony Green, Streetlight Manifesto, The Aquabats, Less Than Jake, The Wonder Years, Save Ferris, Story of the Year and many more!

Southern California, more specifically Orange County,  has been home to an iconic music scene and that has made it possible for endless festival seasons. Even in its popularity there was still something missing. That’s when Travis Barker and John Feldmann created their music love child festival, Back to the Beach. 2019 brings forth the 2nd year of this fun weekend full of ska, punk and reggae to the stage. No matter if you’re flying solo, on a Tinder date, with the crew or with the family add in the soft sand, sunshine, ocean views and good vibes you have yourself one hell of a weekend.

Claim your stake near the front of the stage or sprawl out in the sand, theres room for everyone. This is no Fyre Festival you guys, the Back to the Beach team have created a well equipped festival ground with a ton of options for you to enjoy throughout the 2-days to make the most of your experience.  You and everyone else will have at least one thing in common, to have a good time! Nothing but good vibes here. Let the Nostalgia flow through you and enjoy the music we listened to in our teenage years. Pay a visit to Hot Topic (yeah I know it’s not as cool as it used to be but maybe there is hope), comb that hair over or spike that shit up. Let’s really take it back in time and bring back that style we all once loved and lived or still do! Studded belt and all.

This is the party where all of the cool kids are jamming, playing beach games, grubbing down on delicious food and enjoying some of the best craft beers & cocktails around. Don’t forget the little ones either, the Lil’ Punk KidZone has you covered there!

Tickets are on sale now! Be sure to get yours before they prices go up from high demand. I for one am stoked! I wonder which artists we will see wondering around through the crowd. I am READY are you?   For more information or to buy tickets, click HERE
