Hunnypot video pick comes from Charley Crockett with his song "Jamestown Ferry" from his new album "Charley Crockett Presents: Lil’ G.L.’s Honky Tonk Jubilee". The music video for "Jamestown Ferry" takes the viewer on Crockett's stroll through the wilderness and on the streets of a classic western town with saloons in the background. The video as the same cinematic scenery of an area resembling the alpines similar to those seen in Trey Parker's (creator of South Park) "Cannibal: The Musical". Growing up with a single mother in San Benito, Texas; Crockett found it was not easy being a blues musician in the same town which birthed Freddy Fender. At a young age Crockett set off to preform the world and temporarily finding home in Paris, Spain, Morocco, and North Africa, playing the blues. After returning to Texas Charley Crockett a an album titled "A Stolen Jewel" in 2015, receiving critical acclaim in Dallas and ultimately landing him a Dallas Observer Music Award that year for “Best Blues Act”. Crockett did not slow down and in 2016 he released "The Night", an admirable nod to his Texas country and Louisiana blues roots. Crockett graced the cover of Buddy Magazine in May 2016, who called him “the archetype of the new American vagabond. Crockett has shared the stage with other Blues, Rock n' Roll, and Honky Tonk influenced artist such as Justin Townes Earle, Lucero, and Citizen Cope.
