Sleaford Mods - Kebab Spider

Irrepressible Nottingham electro-punk duo Sleaford Mods have unveiled 'Kebab Spider', a scathing single drawn from their upcoming fifth studio album Eton Alive. Vocalist Jason Williamson's razor-sharp rap / spoken wordplay comes across like an even more rough 'n' ready John Cooper Clarke, while production maestro Andrew Fearn's playful loops are surprisingly club-friendly this time around. Set on a bustling dancefloor, Williamson spits out unsentimental rhymes taking aim at shallow showbiz careerists and lazy thinkers in the accompanying video directed by Roger Sargent.

Sleaford Mods are an English electronic punk music duo formed in 2007 in Nottingham The band features vocalist Jason Williamson and, since 2012, musician Andrew Fearn. They are known for their abrasive, minimalist musical style and embittered explorations of austerity era Britain, culture, and working class life, delivered in Williamson's thick East Midlands accent. The duo have released several albums to critical praise.

  • SHY & D.R.S feat. JOSH SETTERFIELD - "FLEX"
SHY & D.R.S feat. JOSH SETTERFIELD - "FLEX" Country has long been a polarizing, impenetrable genre subjugated to the “but..” of the sentence, “I listen to everything,”. In a time where cross-pollination is the only way to stay current, it's also a genre that has maintained its air of sovereignty, managing to slyly subvert the popsphere by pivoting… Read more
