The latest installment of the Daydream Farm Concert Series, happened on August 7th, with the exquisite sounds of young guitar phenom,  Brandon "Taz" Niederauer and his bandmates echoing through the trees of this magnificent farm.  Owner Tara Stock along with local concert promoter Ed Maier of Elmthree Productions invited us again to her amazing family farm for this week's show, and it was nothing short of spectacular. 

For all those not in the know yet, Brandon Niederauer was born in New York in 2003, and in his short time here on earth, he has grown into a talented young man with guitar skills that are truly out of this world.  Brandon's nickname "TAZ" comes from his guitar teacher, William Mignoli, because his ferocious guitar playing style reminded him of the Tazmanian Devil from Looney Tunes cartoons.  Only 18 years old, Brandon has had quite a few music and acting accomplishments under his belt including a leading role in the School of Rock on Broadway, a featured guitarist playing the National Anthem at Wrigley Field, along with having his own signature D'Angelico Atlantic Model Guitar.

"If you don't know, now you know" (a Biggie reference for you guys!)  Brandon is a Legend in the making, his writing, guitar, and vocal skills keep getting better every time he graces the stage.  In addition, he has also ensembled an exceptional band with Mat Godfrey on rhythm guitar, Matthew Fox on bass, and Kendall Lentz on drums.  Each one of these guys are amazing in their own regard, and they establish a perfect rock and blues band for Brandon's music and continues to evolve with each and every show. We were also blessed to hear a few songs from TAZ’s brother, Dylan Niederauer, taking over on bass, and bringing some funk to the party. 

I can't begin to tell you what a perfect setting the farm was to rock out to TAZ.  He mesmerized the crowd throughout his set and the packed house loved every minute of it. The band brings an eclectic mix of blues, rock, funk, and soul, for a once-in-a-lifetime concert experience that is not to be missed.  I highly recommend everyone check out Brandon "Taz" Niederauer and his band when they come into your town - you will not be disappointed!
