Y LUV is made up of Freddy Janney, Sam Nardella, Nino Salazar and Luke Hanna.
Since forming, Y LUV has released 3 EP’s – How Chill (2011), Make Sense (2012),
and most recently, Take The Ride (2013). Just this year they joined Travis
Barker, Walk The Moon and Capital Cities at USC’s Springfest. Last fall the band
was hand-selected by fellow Voodoo performer AWOLNATION to perform live on
the main stage at the Voodoo Festival in New Orleans. Outside Lands enlisted Y
LUV to play their after party at the W Hotel in 2011 which had the SF Chronicle
plugging their performance and that same year they performed live for the uber-
cool Art Basel in Miami. Come see them perform Live at The Joint HunnypotRadio 9/9/13.

Follow:Nu-soul chanteuse-turned-’90′s House disco diva Jessie Ware got our hearts racing a few months ago with endlessly danceable “Imagine It Was Us” And now, here is an accompanying video for the Julio Bashmore-produced disco throbber and—lo and behold—it’s equally amazing.
Jessie clearly knows how to get down at the club, hitting the floor with a fabulous crew of dance floor deviants and club kids: Prepare for high ponytails, pink fur throws, fruity drinks with tiny umbrellas, big hoops (the bigger, the better), Gaga‘s silly “Paparazzi” sunglasses, sweaty chests slathered in glitter and ample amounts of ballroom voguing that’d have Madonna beaming with pride. Just how cute and sexy does Jessie look pulling those shapes. Follow:We really enjoyed Inch when she played on the 6/3/13 radio show and we're thrilled to debut the new single/video. In "Artful Dodger," Chua tells the story of Charles Dicken’s, Oliver Twist- a cunning, skilled, and immoral boy who notoriously avoids responsibility with humour and tact. Describing Oliver as an “artful dodger,” her vocals and lyrics express the troubles of an enduring love with such a boy. The conceptual video, produced Mighty Fresh (Justin Timberlake, Macy Gray) has been met with high praise as it spreads across the web. In its first week alone, “Artful Dodger” outperformed Inch’s previous releases, having clocked up over 25,000 views. That’s over 3,000 views per day! The song behind the video combines guitar hooks, punchy drums and Inch’s unique vocal-work to haunting effect, highlighting the left-of-centre visuals. Recently moving from Singapore to Los Angeles, the music video is Inch’s first move toward the US market as she prepares to launch her second full-length album, BUMFUZZLE, out globally on the 27th August. The single and album mark a new stage in Inch’s career as she widens her audience locally and abroad.
Follow:"Go On Darling" is the first single from Hermosa Beach based singer/songwriter, Sami. Taken from her forthcoming debut EP (via Hollyrock), exclusively produced by Troublemaker (King Fantastic, Rad Omen). Sami will be playing live on the Hunnypot Radio Show, Aug. 12th.
Follow:"Twist Me to the Left" off the self-titled, fan-funded album released by The Dollyrots September 18th 2012. This is a song about touring so it seemed fitting to use some of their favorite tour footage filmed on the road in Dallas, TX. Their pal Jaret Reddick (front man for Bowling for Soup) and Built By Ninjas directed, shot and edited this one for us and we LOVE how it turned out. Turn it up and hit PLAY!
Follow:Best Fit Recordings/Warner Music Sweden's very own NONONO made their television début this past week, with a performance of their single ‘Pumpin Blood’. ‘Pumpin Blood’ is set to follow on the heels of ‘Like The Wind‘, which was recently remixed by Enjoyed and Alexander Palmestål. The song unfurls like something trying to escape from the confines of your speakers, and damn near accomplishes this via some epic whistling.

Bay Area duo The Limousines, debut LP, Get Sharp, was first released and played on the Hunnypot Radio show in 2010 featured the fun, self-reflective single “Internet Killed the Video Star” (The track hit a million views on YouTube and brought the band an international fan base). ”Love Is A Dog From Hell”— is the new single we’re excited to premiere from their sophomore album, Hush. The track is an ’80s-inspired New Wave gem about the temptations of falling in love. Interestingly enough, the song’s title is borrowed from a book by poet Charles Bukowski that discusses the darker side of love. Heady stuff! The track’s shimmering, dream-like synths are paired with lyrics about cigarettes, kisses and heaven, and it’ll surely leave you reminiscing about the one who got away.

The South African rave-rap posse Die Antwoord are gearing up for a new album — Donker Mag, expected February 2014 — and they've just shared the first song and video from the thing. The video, directed by frontman Ninja aka Waddy Jones, then erupts into a high-pitched, high-energy tribute to the indelible "gangsta" Anies, spliced with scenes of Yolandi smoking marijuana, dancing around in a yellow woolen crocheted bikini top and urinating on the orphanage's stairs. This is the least troubling part of the whole thing, as the song is seemingly about being victimized by a recently-freed-from-jail drug dealer.
