This music video for Grammy nominated producer King Henry’s tenth single "What About Me" starts in with a thumping trance like beat. Visually you are introduced to a team of stuntmen for what is referred to in the video as spinning; while the car turns circles the stuntmen also take turns cavorting from the moving vehicle. The song’s lyrics tell something of a thwarted love story; the precariousness of the stunt work in the video is a rather good metaphor for the tenuous nature of this longed for relationship. About once a minute there is a nice hip hop drop out which goes nice with the juxtaposition of slow motion and regular time video here. The music is a nice slow jam with not a lot of complicated changes; definitely something that would be good for a movie or television placement. It is not really surprising to learn that King Henry has worked with the likes of Major Lazer and The Weeknd as "What About Me" could easily fit in the set list of any nightclub. This new single never feels overdone or longwinded and the video itself is a perfect, pun intended, vehicle for the music. King Henry is definitely keeping busy and is one to watch as he is producing and co-writing a forthcoming album from Sasha Sloan.

MILLY - "Bittersweet Mary"
“I think about death all the time.” Almost ironic for someone called Brendan Dyer. Principal songwriter and singer of the indie rock, shoegaze band MILLY, Dyer lays his hushed vocals over a bed of heavy guitar riffs while singing about both love and death. In their freshly released third LP…

DREAM THEATER, NIGHT TERROR
When the video for "Night Terror" was released, I did myself the injustice of reading a ton of related social media posts prior to listening to the track out right. I saw everything from 'Best Song Ever' to 'Total Disappointment' and everything in between. Who would have thought a new…
