Hunnypot artist Kemo the Blaxican, has released his latest music video, for the conscious new single "That's When She Died" off Kemo's new album Upside Of Struggle. The video was Directed by: Hugo V. with Cinematogrophy by: Bill Sloggatt, guitar by: Ross Lambert and cuts by: DJ Reverence.
Kemo, states - The lyrics and mental images are not meant to offend or insult. It is designed to motivate and produce penetrating philosophical thought for resolution.
Last weeks Hunnypot Radio show was a wild time. Despite the entire Libertine being under-construction for renovations, Hunnypot still marched on with the show!
Hot Tub Johnnie's set list was jam packed with goodness featuring new music from - Andy Clockwise "Everybody's In A Band", UNKLE "Money And Run (feat. Nick Cave)" and the Charles Bradley hit that is straight fire right now "The World (Is Going Up In Flames)". The Hot Tub Johnnie set also featured a surprise guest - Miss Girley, out of ATL. Girley did a quick interview and previewed a couple tracks from her forthcoming record including "Disco Drawers".
Our first guest DJ of the evening was Brandon Dorsky, founder/editor in chief of SUPERGOODMUSIC. Brandon who is known for his eye and ear for talent, played a killer set of some hit new taste-makers including an act he is currently managing - Weapons Of Audio "Night Light" and also played the Childish Gambino version of Jaimie XX's remix cut of "Rolling In The Deep". Our musical guests of the evening were Tic Tic Boom!, another great breaking act brought to the HP airwaves by Brandon Dorsky. Tic Tic Boom! previewed their killer new single "Bees" from their latest EP - Reasons & Rhymes. They performed a sweet stripped down set of 3 tracks, including a smooth melodic version of "Just Friends". Be sure to check these guys out!
DJ Boom Shack lead us into the stretch run with a short but very insightful set of music. The hand picked selections included the cuts "I Get Lifted" by George McRae, "Streets Is Hot" by breaking Miami hip hop artist J. NiCs and more.

Our first guest in the Hot Tub is Brandon Dorsky, the Founder/Editor of the Supergoodmusic blog, Entertainment Attorney at law and President at Grassroots California, a progressive clothing line company which donates proceeds to various communities around the globe. His well known music blog Supergoodmusic, offers various services to artists and music lovers with his popular weekly concert blast which is in LA, Colorado and San Francisco. Brandon will have a featured DJ set to premiere his latest favorites and also have a special interview with Hot Tub Johnny…don't miss it!
The musical guest of the night is local indie/pop rock act Tic Tic Boom!, who will be performing live for us from the Libertine. Tic Tic Boom comes from right here in Hollywood and will be on in support of their recently released EP Reasons & Rhymes, which has been described as "electro-pop-tacular" with elements of indie rock, new wave and punk. Check out their song "Bees" a fun, upbeat, electro pop summer stinger!
Hunnypot artists Clubfeet release new video for "Edge of Extremes" off their most recent album Gold On Gold. The band has teamed up with with Sydney-based videographer Alex Goddard for a collaborative art project called Gold on Gold. "Edge of Extremes" is the first video in this series. Over the next several months, the band will be rolling out with several videos and remixes which will continue to flesh out the project.

Our first guest was LA singer-songwriter, and former Human Drama front-man Johnny Indovina. Johnny's beautifully arranged songs, were performed brilliantly and his soothing, airy guitar blended perfectly with his honest, caring vocals. Be sure to check out his performance of "Wind Of Change" and his latest single "The Poisoning".
Next on the docket was renowned music supervisor, Lindsay Wolfington - the gatekeeper for all things music on the hit TV show One Tree Hill and Ghost Whisperer. Lindsay played a mixed set full of her latest favorites and classic 90's jams! The key focus tracks in her set, were "Equestrian" by U.S. Royalty Mirrors, "Jeroboam" by Branches and her classic 90's selection "Tubthumping" by Chumbawumba. Our last guests were local LA indie, rock quartet The Tender Box. They may have played a stripped down set, but these guys completely rocked out and stole the night, as they performed songs off their latest release Reverence. The night was closed out with a short but sweet set of new music, handpicked by DJ Boom Shack. Boom Shack featured new cuts from Deep.sea.creatures, Martin Solveig and LA rockers SUDDYN and their new single "Nothing Lasts Forever".

We welcome acclaimed music supervisor Lindsay Wolfington (Lone Wolf Music Supervision), who currently overseas all things music for the hit TV series One Tree Hilland has supervised popular TV shows Ghost Whisperer, Smallville, Felicity and more. Lindsay will be our featured industry guest DJ, and sharing with us some of latest hit tastemaker sounds in music. Also joining us in the Hot Tub will be Johnny Indovina, singer-songwriter and frontman for underground 80's new wave goth band Human Drama. The band was a central figure in the 80's L.A. downtown scene which revolved around the now legendary SCREAM nightclub and released the '92 landmark album The World Insidethrough Triple X Records. Indovina is now heading his latest musical project Sound Of The Blue Heart, an alternative, pop rock quintet that features thought provoking insights and infectious rhythms.
Hunnypot hit-makers and Cherrytree artists' Far East Movement are back with a banging hot new video for "So What?", the latest single which has the boys sampling "So What Cha Want" from Beastie Boys - you can find the new smash on their major label debut album Free Wired (Cherrytree/Interscope Records) available on iTunes & Amazon.

We welcome to the Hot Tub highly talented LA based hip hop, artist/producer E-TRAIN by way of Chicago, who is making his second appearance on the show. E-Train is coming on in support of his latest LP titled Wrath Of Roxane, which features the addictive singles "Glow So Hard" and "Never Love You". So, get ready for a high energy performance with hard hitting beats and catchy, conscious rhymes.

Our second featured guest of the evening is Amanda Jo Williams, a folk rock, country, singer-songwriter from Georgia who now resides in LA. Her latest album Mary's Big Feet is out now and features the breezy, folk charmer "Homeheart" for which you can see the fine video for as our video pick of the week!

The last guests of the evening are Phoenix based electronic, indie, pop rock band Peachcake. This eclectic trio is currently on tour in support of their latest EP titled This Wasn't Our Plan featuring the upbeat, electro dance single "You Matter". Don't miss what is sure to be an ever-evolving force of exuberance and uplifted aspiration and positivity!

Last weeks Hunnypot Live radio show was an extreme surge of excitement. DJ Hot Tub Johnnie kicked it off right, with a banging track from LA's own Skull Tape "Anon Anon" and featured select cuts by The Shivers, The Chemical Brothers, Lil B and more. A Hot Tub set to definitely take note of!
Inglewood's 16 BARZ, set the tone perfectly and completely rocked the airwaves with a banging set of new cuts off his soon to be released LP 2000wHATevER. Check out the club banger "Imma Do It Better"and listen to his raw freestyle rhyming ability on "Look At Me Now".
Next on the decks was Hunnypot's DJ Wool, a producer, artist and also a member of The Glass came on and ignited the show. His set was dynamite and left you wanting more. Check out the DJ Wool's "Proof (Remix)" by Stuffa and "Strobelight".
Our last performers on the night were Furious + The Static Shock, comprising of both Furious George and acclaimed producer The Static Shock. Their performance was electric and the energy provided from Furious George will go down in Hunnypot lore. The LA electronic, alt pop duo has a new mixture mixture out titled 'Prince Furious Mixtape' featuring the signature tracks "Future Pop" and "Fiire".
The night was closed out with a solid set of hand picked selections by DJ Boom Shack, featuring hot new Miami hip hop, brand new completely exclusive Yael Meyer "Fire" and more. We also had a couple surprise special guests, Phil Rich came in with his hot new single "Shucky Ducky" and Shinobi Ninja premiered their new single "Brooklyn To Babylon".

Special DJ set by Hunnypot artist, producer, DJ Wool (The Glass). Wool comes from Ireland via New York and lives in Berlin, but has been in Cali and will be making a special appearance on the show. Expect to hear some killer electronic, dance remixes and blazin' new productions. Wool also a member of indie dance duo The Glass, have had their music in TV series such as Gossip Girl, CSI Miami, Lie To Me and more.
We welcome the new LA based electro/pop duo FURIOUS + THE STATIC SHOCK. Consisting of acclaimed producer 'The Static Shock' (Yo! Majesty, Raspberry Cocaine) and nineteen year old wizkid 'Furious' George Griffin. The duo's music is described as "tough pop", as heard by their first single "Fiire" – released on the latest, 'Prince Furious Mixtape'.
We will also have a fresh new hip hop artist Siqsteen Barz (pronounced 16 BARZ) out of Inglewood, coming on to preview his latest hotness and performance. Described as versatile hip hop, 16 BARZ practices the art of “obstacle rap”. Check out this latest banger "Imma Do It Better".

The night was kicked off with a brand new set of music from DJ Hot Tub Johnnie. The set included new tracks from… The Rassle "Full Speed Ahead", The Knocks "Something I Can Dance To", The Weeknd "Glass table Girls", Big Sean "Big Nut Bust" and more. Kicking the night off for performances was a brand new up and coming hip hop duo from Grenada Hills, F.L.O. (Flyest Lyrics Overall). These 2 16 and 17 year old rappers came and completely stole the show with a high energy set that left everyone shook. Highlight of the night was "This Generation". Keep your eyes and ears peeled for this hip new act that is sure to break soon.
Next, was a special guest DJ set from Kii Arens (La La Land Posters). Kii who is no stranger to the Hunnypot fam, was in full form. He displayed a loud rousing set that included cuts from LA rock band Tarantula "Devil Inside My Head", Tame Impala "Lucidity", brand new Beastie Boys "Non Stop Disco Power Pack" and the latest jam from Ziggy Marley "Forward To Love". Our final guest of the evening was none other than Josie Cotton. Miss Cotton, who is well known for her 80's hit "Johnny, Are You Queer?", came on to promote her new record Pussycat Babylon and also stood in for a featured interview with Hot Tub Johnny. However, the highlights of the set were by far her striped down performances of the title track "Pussycat Babylon" and "Super 8". We welcome Josie Cotton, singer-songwriter of the hits "Johnny Are You Queer" and "He Could Be The One". Josie will be our first guest performer of the night and will also have a special interview with Hot Tub Johnny. Josie will be performing acoustic renditions of songs off her latest album Pussycat Babylon and maybe even a classic...!
We will also have another performance on the night from F.L.O. (Flyest Lyrics Overall), a hip hop duo based out of Granada Hills, CA. Bio and Skinny (F.L.O.) ages 16 and 17 will be on for a live performance and interview from the Hot Tub. The duo brings a fresh new sound, that will end the dance movements and bring real Hip-Hop back.
