"We don't know if we are even gonna do another Little Brother album at this point." It's been over ten years since Rapper Big Pooh told HipHopGame.com that he and his remaining Little Brother member Phonte wanted to focus on their own solo projects. Since then, Rapper Big Pooh and Phonte have collaborated with multiple creative projects, but this year's reunification of the group has amassed a collective excitement from both patient fans and the music industry as a whole.

Critically acclaimed North Carolina hip-hop duo Little Brother have something to say in their latest video for single "Black Magic" featuring Madison McFerrin. Phonte kicks the track off with a prideful proclamation: "Black skin, black faces, black people make black magic". The duo begin to reflect on the times, from questioning whether new rappers only care about accumulating clout to solidarity with the African-American community amidst police brutality and violence. They also reassure their audience that they have been doing just fine throughout their time apart. Phonte explains that he's been "ASCAP'in" (collecting royalties) and Rapper Big Pooh, though a little disgruntled with the lack of recognition whilst hustling in the industry, says he's happy with the simple things in life: "I'm still focused on the goal and not what's hangin' on the walls / Listen, all I need is the sports channel / And a glass of your finest red, you feel me?"

With scenes of festivities, friendly faces, and a backdrop that spells out "GOOD TIMES", it's clear that Little Brother want to create a sense of love and community. The single's production is a warm throwback to the poetic core of underground hip-hop, and in this new world of uncertainty and division, Little Brother are on a mission to put the pieces back together through the power of music.

Hot Chip's new video introduces you to "Bath Full of Ecstasy"

Hot Chip's videos are always very entertaining, but this time the British band just released an exceptional video for their latest single! The video starts with an Youtuber reviewing a Japonese videogame from the 80's called "Hot Chip: Bath Full of Ecstasy", then the song begins and it shows clips from the video game. The video game is very similar to Mario Bros. and you can choose one of the band members as your avatar to play. The youtuber also shows the packaging of the game and its other features. Too bad this video game doesn't exist for real.

The song "Bath Full of Ecstasy" is the latest single from the album of the same name, including other hits such as "Hungry Child" and "Melody of Love".

Our Video Pick today is “One Missed Call” by the talented LA-based singer/songwriter PJ AKA Paris Jones.

You know that inner voice that sometimes tells you stuff that you might like or not… Called intuition? Ye, that’s right.

The video is based on a true story and it’s pretty relatable. Unfortunately, there are always people out there like her X, the inspiration for the video. It might be heart braking but also a learning experience, growth, and strength evoking and eye-opening…

In “One Missed Call” PJ sampled Stevie Wonder ("All I Do song") in the track! How cool is that? Check it out.

The potatohead people are back with a new recent track that’s been out for about a month now called “single life.” It is the track you want to listen to out in the club with your homegirls and homeboys. It is a throwback to the 90’s R&B with modern sounds from today, but clearly a homage.

It is a creative music video put together with the different colors being used throughout the entire scenes, white, purple, yellow, it engages you and Bunnie really brings her talent out into the table. Their audience are showing nothing but love to “single life” and it is well deserved because their audience want more.

We can't get enough of Phoenix native UPSAHL's latest party protest "Drugs". In her new video for the single, Taylor Upsahl takes us through a trippy house party where everyone's either snorting glitter or taking rainbow-colored pills. Upsahl's unforgettable hook is bound to stick with you next to you want to party hard. The song's warm and soulful vocals and jangly beat create a perfect track to kickback to.

Upsahl released her first single with Arista Records late last year. Though she's only been out of high school for just over a year, she's well versed in the music industry. At the age of 5, Upsahl began learning and playing piano and guitar. In her freshman year, she dropped her first EP. With millions of plays on Spotify behind her, Upsahl is an unstoppable force that's shaking up the pop world.

With a heartfelt “aloha,” the four-time GRAMMY Award-winning, blues artist Keb’ Mo’ tipped his hat to a sold-out venue for the first of a three-night run at the prestigious Blue Note Hawaii in the Outrigger Hotel in Waikiki.

Keb’ Mo’ (born Kevin Moore), the charismatic songwriter with a signature eclectic take on Delta blues, had the audience hanging onto his every note, bending their emotions just as skillfully as he bended the strings on his steel guitar.

He opened with “Rita,” off his seminal album Suitcase. Hard to believe that this toe-tappingly cheerful melody is, at its base, a story of regret and missed opportunity. But such is the beauty of Mo’s music and the power of the blues; his powerful lyrics and talent were able to draw out the emotions lying just under the skin and bring them to the surface.

Similarly, during Keb’ Mo’s feel-good fan favorite, “Old Me Better,” the musician is thankful for his old lady making him a better man--but he still reminisces about the days before she put that sweater on him, when he was a lot more fun. “I’m always a little hesitant to play this one ... espe-cially when she’s in the audience,” he said, smirking. With the crowd still reeling with laughter, a group of woman stood up in unison and screamed, “Shave Yo’ Legs!” With a laugh, Mo’ took their request and broke into a love song about accepting your significant other just the way they are, hairy legs and all.

During short breaks between songs, Mo’ proudly took drinks from an aluminum water bottle sitting on a table at his side during the set. He began to preach the benefits of reusable bottles and began his next song, “Don’t Throw It Away,” a catchy sing-a-long against single-use plastics, seemingly written for us specifically out in the Pacific Ocean.

Towards the apex of the show, woman were standing on edge eagerly awaiting their anthem. He delivered with “Put a Women in Charge,” a song off his latest album, performed alongside Rosanne Cash, which unabashedly provides us with a simple solution for the problems facing our world.

If Robert Johnson was alive today, I would imagine he’d be smiling from behind his six-string, knowing that there’s a champion carving a new path for the blues: Keb’ Mo’. One channeling the genre to speak to today’s times and serve as a positive vehicle of compassion for a whole new generation of songwriters unafraid to dip their feet in the pool of their forefathers.

Before last week, I never knew the name Keb’ Mo.’ Today, I’m proud to say I’ve listened to his latest album, Oklahoma, for the tenth time since his show, and have gone through his entire discography many times over, discovering new favorites with every listen. He’s currently touring through the US--don’t miss your chance to bask in the glory of this amazing blues phenomenon.

On a cool and windy Sunday night, Crobot's dirty, groove-rock poured out of the newly redesigned legendary Asbury Lanes into the streets of Asbury Park, NJ. The Pennsylvania quartet, created by vocalist Brandon Yeagley and guitarist Chris Bishop in the summer of 2011, was in town to showcase their latest release - Motherbrain.  Crobot has had great success in the past eight years (including breaking the top 16 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Chart) and their latest is clearly another step in the right direction, proving that heavy, funky, rock and roll is not dead, but and alive and kicking in the Garden State.  Better yet, this show was literally the first time I had ever seen or heard Crobot (aside from some pre-show research), and was excited for my real-world baptism as a 'Beardo' on Sunday night.

Crobot kicked off the show with "Legend of the Spaceborne Killer", and what immediately stood out was the band's incredible on-stage presence.  You could tell right away that these guys loved playing with one another by the intense energy they each brought to the stage.  Add in face-melting guitar riffs, thunderous bass and drums, and Brandon's extraordinary vocals, and you had all the ingredients required for a true rock and roll party.  Although tight as a band, it was clear that each member brought their own unique style to the stage, and collectively brought the crowd on a journey through time and space.  Brandon's rock-star persona was on full display throughout the evening highlighted by his dancing, attire, and of course his incredible voice.  The band seemed to feed off that energy, with Eddie and Chris running around the stage, Chris jumping off amplifiers and spinning his guitar around his body, and Dan always laying down that perfect beat to keep the party going. But none of Crobot's on-stage antics took away from the excellent musicianship of the band as they collectively set fire to Asbury Lanes.

As this show was billed as a record release party for the band's fourth album Motherbrain, it was great to hear a few words from Brandon Yeagley and his thoughts on the record:  “I think it’s a much darker record, musically, lyrically, and thematically. It’s some of the heaviest material we’ve ever done, but it’s also some of the funkiest. We’re widening the Crobot spectrum even more. It’s the catchiest too. It’s less about wizards and dragons and more about everyday turmoil and the struggles of life. Corey made it digestible and appealing for not just dudes with beards or chicks with dicks.”

The boys played many songs off the new album including "Burn" and "Keep Me Down", and I must say these songs were simply unbelievable.  In addition, Crobot mystified the crowd with an incredible cover of Soundgarden's "Outshined".  I'm a huge Soundgarden fan and am sure Chris Cornell would have been proud of their rendition - it was truly one for the ages.

Near the end of the show, you could tell Yeagley was having fun and took an impromptu shot at The Jonas Brothers  (who were spotted in Asbury Park earlier in the day taping a performance for the MTV VMA awards)"Did you see the Jonas Brothers today?" The crowd then responded with a mixture of silence, some murmurs, and a few boos. Yeagley then asked, "Why?"  Crobot then proceeded to tease a little Led Zeppelin for the Jonas Brothers which immediately fired the raucous crowd right back up.  I liked that, a little humor at a rock show - it was just what the doctor ordered.

Asbury Lanes has gone thru some changes recently and is newly renovated.  It has a bar, diner, bowling alley, and stage perfectly set up for any concert goer to enjoy rock and roll from any location in the house. On Sunday night, the Crobot faithful were able to get a beer, grab some food, and bowl a few games while at the same time enjoying their favorite rock and roll band. This was a perfect spot for Crobot to shine in NJ and it was a show I won't soon forget.

At the end of the day, Crobot's show on Sunday night was special and their album Motherbrain is straight up rock and roll at it's finest.  I highly recommend it to anyone looking to get loud and rowdy and suggest you catch the band while they are on tour in a town near you.  I'm now a Crobot believer (and this is coming from someone who had zero exposure to the band prior to this show).  Crobot is the real deal.  They are fresh, entertaining and they deliver on all-cylinders!
