Wavy Trees is: Zack “Moondog” Smith (Lead Vocals/Guitar/ Piano), Jason Espirito (Guitar), Brian Duke: (Bass/Guitar) and Jack Gallner (Drums)
If Wayne’s World and Bill & Ted’s Excellent adventure collided in an alternate reality House party, Los Angeles based Wavy Trees would be the band playing in the back yard. The cosmic bartender at this gathering would be mixing swaggering hard rock riffs with the attitude and energy of garage-punk, dumping it into a shaker and pouring out a potent cocktail of we-could-give-a-fuck fun. With the release of debut track “I Wanna Go Out” they are declaring themselves to the world with the perfect anthem for the pent-up frustration that so many are feeling after being in pandemic lockdown for more than a year.
According to the band’s Zack “Moondog” Smith (Lead Vocals/Guitar/ Piano): “We all met by complete fate! I met Brian (Duke – Bass) at a house party in North Hollywood & immediately asked myself “Why am I not in a band with this guy?” But it turned out Brian was already in a band with Jason (Espirito – Guitar) so the timing was off. Fast forward a year or so later I met Jack (Gallner – Drums) at El Tejano restaurant in NOHO & we hit it off talking about all the music we were jamming to at the time & ended up writing songs in his bedroom within the first couple weeks of meeting. From the moment I met Jack I knew we were meant to be in a band together as well, it was fate!”
He continues” as we started our initial recording sessions in June of 2019 at NRG Studios, we had a bass player flake on us & I immediately thought of Brian. He was in a life insurance meeting at a Starbucks but bailed to come join us for the session & killed it! After that 1st session he told me that Jason would be perfect for the project on guitar… I was secretly hoping that would come up because Brian & Jay are a dynamic duo that were born to play together. A week later we went to a rehearsal space on my birthday & that was the day the Wavy Trees was officially “born” as a band.
The band is produced by the legendary Jay Baumgardner (Seether, Bush, Papa Roach, Lacuna Coil, Otherwise)
Wavy Trees are recording new material now with Baumgardner, with more singles and an EP to be released later this year.

Sun Puddle is a rock trio from Seattle, Washington that have a penchant for writing angry, compelling songs about society’s outsiders and a flair for catchy pop akin to the Beatles.
Leaning heavily on early Nirvana, Melvins, and Sonic Youth, the band plays urgent, intense music sparked by introspective, sometime caustic, lyrics. Sun Puddle’s uniqueness lies in their hook-laden songs that transcend the aggressiveness of their apathetic yet powerful presence.
Sun Puddle are Trever Rose (singer/guitarist), Leo Quale (bass player), Evan Hartung (drummer)
Return To Dust is barebones rock that is youthfully charged. The band tackles the struggles of growing up; feeling out of place, ostracized, struggling with societal pressures and anxieties. The band members' individual traumatic history has become the main themes of their lyrical content.
Amidst all the sadness, and the bad which always shines brightest, the silver lining is growth. Friendship, knowledge, and your individual experiences have all led you to this place in life, and no one can define this, or tell you that it is right or wrong.
Lyrically, the band only knows as much as you do, merely putting our shared experiences into impactful, attitude riddled diddies. We hope to inspire people who are just like us, struggling in their journey through life. Your path is clear and totally defined by you each and every day.

Raised in the musical heartland of Texas, Noah Vonne forged an original sound that blends elements of rock, soul, blues, and pop. From an early age, the New Braunfels native drew upon the likes of Janis Joplin, Sara Bareilles, Brandi Carlile, Alicia Keys, Joss Stone, Joan Jett and Ella Fitzgerald — each of these powerful women can be heard within the expressive ripples of Vonne’s vocal delivery.
“My influences range quite a bit,” she admits, “but I’ve always been drawn to female powerhouses. They carry so much kindness alongside their incredible talent.”
In 2018, Vonne embarked on a journey across the world as lead singer of a group that performed three shows daily on Celebrity Cruise Line's newest ship, The Edge. After returning to the United States in 2019, she hit the ground running as direct support for Shawn James on the national The Dark & The Light Tour. Soon after, Vonne followed up with the release of two inventive singles, “LOVE MOVE” and “RnR”, each released ahead of the Love Move EP in June 2020.
In October 2020, Vonne premiered the official music video for her critically acclaimed single “SUNSET INN”. With the help of veteran producer Jimmy Messer, Noah is preparing for the debut of her first full length LP, written and produced in her new home of Southern California.

The Lady Tigra was born in Harlem and raised in Hollis, Queens blocks away from Run DMC and LL Cool J, to a Haitian mother and a French father. Music was an integral part of her upbringing. She shares, "I grew up in a large, tight-knit, musical family who played lots of instruments and played lots of records all day. I loved to write and very early on hip-hop allowed me to tap into both of those loves. I'm pretty sure that I wrote my first rhyme at around 7 yrs old about Santa Clause delivering toilet paper to me when I found myself stuck on the bowl without any. I still love bathroom acoustics lol." She and her family relocated to Miami during the birth of Miami Bass where she became acquainted with Miami’s biggest DJs and rappers. By the age of fifteen, she was signed to Atlantic Records as one-half of the iconic rap group L’Trimm. Tigra toured with the biggest names in hip hop and was ranked in VH1’s Top 100 Greatest Hip Hop Songs and Rolling Stones Magazine's Top 100 Hip Hop Songs of All Time. Following the trend of digestible, algorithm-friendly song titles, Rora Wilde’s new diva diddy, “DLM” lends a new acronym to your letter littered psyche. While Rora’s vocals settle into their R&B stride, the faintest tint of her country roots peer through her raven hair. Her voice never strays too far, however, from the ratatat keeping course of the soul pop Rora has set her sights on.
Maybe I am just getting old, but I could not have guessed what DLM stands for by its letters alone. Luckily, the song is catchy enough to pop in your head the same way you’d think about that special someone sliding into your DLMs. (That’s a phrase, right?) Rora spells it out in the chorus, playfully pleading, “don’t let me let you go”. While taking the time to convince herself of what’s in front of her, she does not shy away from some TLC before going OUT for the night.
In the video, Rora is looking for some me-time in preparation for the we-time, promising herself, and whoever she’s on the phone with, that it will only take her 10 minutes to clean…and bubble bath and decide on an outfit. After a few moments luxuriating on promised time, she finishes her fit with an affirming pout in the mirror and an Ariana Grande flounce out the door.
On DLM, Rora starts to find her footing between what’s now and what’s her. She’s cleaning her already polished living space, hinting that obsessing is her favorite form of procrastination. The Jojo vibes of the song compliment the video's references to other aughts songresses. With the same hopeful tone of that era, DLM delivers a bright and glittery promise of what’s been and what’s to come for Rora Wilde. -Robyn Dee

Co-founder of Fader Magazine; co-founder of the 1200 Squad; nominated for MPS Mixshow Power Summit (MPS) Mixshow Promoter of The Year; nominated for MPS Executive Of The Year; developed, co-managed, and executive produced recording artist MIMS. Co-founder Digiwaxx Media.
Digiwaxx Media was established and founded in 1998 by Cory "CL" Llewellyn and Andrew Edgar in Greensburgh, NY.
The company was created with the fundamental philosophy: to give all artists more power and revenue. Through the WAXX system artists were able to have access to thousands of DJ’s at their “finger tips”. This system was beneficial because it leveled the playing field for major and independent artist and it allowed any artist to get DJ’s to promote their music to both create and enhance their fan base. This then would assist them in selling their music through DIGITAL means directly to new and established fans. The concepts synchronized and DIGIWAXX was born.
Digiwaxx began with the vision of being a Digital Distribution platform that would allow artist to eliminate the “middle men” and allow them to promote their content directly to DJ’s and sell their content directly to fans alike.
Today Digiwaxx the perfect combination of a modern Music & Artist Promotion Service, Creative Marketing Agency and Digital Music Platform that sits at the nexus of cutting edge music, people, technology and culture.
The company currently works with major labels Warner, Universal, and Sony Music Groups, along with a long list of established independent record labels. In addition Digiwaxx serves as an agency for various corporations including Adidas, Nike, Puma, Beats Audio, Monster Products, Samsung, Blackberry, HD Radio, Chevrolet, Levis, and others.

Sham Blak is street wisdom and love expressed through modern boom bap. Sham Blak is hitting his stride and is most definitely in his bag; like Mary Poppins, there’s something for everyone in said bag - the “old heads” will love the purity and connection to hip hop’s roots, those who enjoy trap music will connect with Sham Blak’s ability to uniquely tell tales of redeemed hood life, and the vibe-centric turn-up kids will connect with his infectious energy. Sham Blak is a bridge - he is able to stay rooted in the community that created and shaped him (Southeast San Diego) while branching out to connect with people across the spectrum of life circumstance and experience. Sham Blak’s “lit and intentional” vibe ensures that listeners will turn up while simultaneously being challenged to think, whether his effervescence is being communicated through headphones, the system in your whip, or from any number of stages he’s performed on. Opening for artist like G Perico, Neff the Pharos, AFRO, Big Twin and Psycholess of the Beatnuts, Slum Village and Kool Keith
The music is the vehicle, but Sham Blak’s vision can’t be contained in one medium; his Waves in the Tide imprint seeks to take the energy and acclaim garnered through his music as a means to introduce and offer “at risk” youth a relationship to the vast mysteries of the ocean and to marine life in hopes of teaching young people how to heal themselves through a connection with nature. The ocean provides a meditative context in which young people from otherwise restless backgrounds are able to be still and reflect - two important ingredients to heal trauma. Sham Blak’s entrepreneurial spirit and community focus places him in the conversation with artists like Nipsey Hussle, Westside Boogie, Young Dolph and more. With the intelligence developed through surviving and thriving in South East San Diego and the discipline earned from his time in the Army, Sham Blak’s progress is both grounded and accelerated - join the movement, you don’t want to miss it!
Sham Blak is an artist first, and his mastery of the craft of emceeing is evident in his content, cadences, and delivery. Sham Blak’s music will move you and his stage presence will make you a life-long fan, whether your taste focuses on bars, production, vibe or message. Sham Blak has an industry-ready sound and style with the hustle and heart of independent hip hop; tune-in, it’s about to get SPOOKY!
I went from memorizing all the songs on every karaoke game on the playstation 2 when I was little, to releasing multiple singles and an EP series H.I.M Vol. 1. I write my own lyrics to every single song I release, sometimes being in my zone and writing a song in less than 30 minutes.
I love doing different genres and love working with artists who have a passion for the art of music like myself. I am a mother of 2 wild ones and a business student. To get the full scope of who Karima Jay is I highly encourage everyone to listen to my lyrics. I get really personal and expose a lot about myself through my songs.

From the alleyways of old town Riverside, CA come the sounds of old world folk-pop that broke free from the early ages of music and skipped through time to find its way into our modern world. Throughout the journey, stories were turned into songs, forming Eva and the Vagabond Tales.
The Vagabond Tales is a multi-instrumental music project centered around the songwriting of Russian born Eva Mikhailovna. The songs combine western, old folk, and ragtime into a musical melting pot, creating an alluring sound that transcends time and continents.
“The Vagabonds” (as Eva refers to her musicians) accompanying her live are long time members Jake Pflum (percussion), Alan Arteaga (banjo, electric guitar, ukulele), and Jasmine Capitulo (accordion). As the music continues to extend its fan base across the United States and with the release of Uncharted Ocean this spring, the band will continue touring, and performing around the west coast with plans to head east in the summer and fall. They are currently doing a residency at Disney in Anaheim, CA where they can be caught playing their songs as well as some special takes on some Disney classics.

Hailing from California, Filipino-American artist Lisa Danaë has long been a powerhouse vocalist in the music industry. Lisa’s journey began as a young girl when she found solace in pop industry powerhouses Christina Aguilera, Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake. As she grew as an artist, Lisa’s goal became to spread her story of growth and empowerment through the same powerful pop hooks and unfeigned, timeless lyrics that she grew up listening to. Her ability to pay tribute to the late 90’s/Y2K pop movement while still honoring her musical tenor in R&B birthed her transition and curation of “dark pop” where she takes deep sound to balance and challenge the uplifting lyricism and vocal tenor to create and addictive genre blend.

Recap/Photos: J. Gray
Long time Hot Tubber Larken Phillips aka L-Boogie will celebrate his birthday with a special Live performance.
Ancient Sumerian texts tell of a man with boogie so pimpaliciously slick, that the world could not withstand the weight of his almighty funkification. He was born in a maelstrom of smoke and fire, schooled by the legends of Shaolin, and set upon this world to seek that mighty groove, tweak it till it’s smooth, straight up freak and bust a move.
This legend of boogie was deemed too powerful by the elder gods of groove, and so it was decided to seal his spirit away. For thousands of years the spirit of this titan of twerk lay dormant only to be awoken for a single night each year, for if his boogie lasted any longer the cosmos could be torn apart by his vociferous vibrations.
Lo and behold: the great L-Boogie hath arisen from his slumber! Payeth him tribute with dope-ass dance moves & belligerent bong rips, lest ye soul be cast into darkness until he riseth once more.
Johnathan Ruiz, better known as Doc Samson, is an American rapper, multi- instrumentalist, and record producer from Bakersfield, California.
Samson’s music is primarily rooted in alternative rap and hip-hop with albums like Prelude: The Tale of Doc Samson (2015), Son of Sam (2018), Samuel L. (2019) and DEATHDOG (2019).
Doc’s style of production has progressed immensely from dark and grimy to more of an inspirational based genre originating from sounds of the past. His new record, DEATHDOG II, via Blossöm Records marvelously showcases his take on the many memorable eras before him. “Heads will roll” he says.
Comprised of Alexx Calise, an introspective lyricist and “harmony machine”, and Morehouse, a masterful arranger and sound manipulator, Batfarm is a two-piece alternative rock band whose sound can be best described as “darkedelic”. The multi-instrumentalists keep it small not only for efficiency’s sake, but also to keep creating the music they want without added personalities. Combining Alexx’s grunge and blues influences with rich, choral soundscapes and Dennis’s love of industrial, funk, and psychedelic music, Batfarm creates a sound that is like everything and nothing at once.
While the music itself is serious, they don’t take themselves too seriously, and it is their hope that the darkness of some of their own personal experiences will help others to find their own light.
