Nowadays, real Outlaw Country is rarely heard on the radio or dance halls. If you want the real stuff, you've gotta look for it. This music lives on within renegades who strive to keep the flame alive - mavericks who eat, sleep, breathe and bleed Outlaw music.
Casey Miller and Megan Wise are the Barnyard Stompers. Forget about every other two-piece band you've ever experienced. Barnyard Stompers is no novelty. It's honest and true, and doesn't very much care for anything that isn't. So if you're looking for authentic Outlaw sounds birthed in the heart of Texas, you've come to the right place.
Billy Gottlieb, Walla and a Burlesque Show!!! 2/23/2015
The mind behind Playback Music Supervision needs no introduction for many who are keen to his craft, but for those of you who don't know Billy Gottlieb, allow us to catch you up on his work: Pulp Fiction, Bring It On, The Basketball Diaries, and many others exemplify the versatility necessary to become one of the most active music supervisors in the world, which our man Billy most certainly is. Though 2015 may be very, very young, Billy G has the distinction of already having 4 television series set to air in the new year - all of which feature drastically different musical styles. We're shocked and flattered that he's taken the time out of his busy schedule to spin some of his favorite tunes with us, and you should be too.
The RYWOLF sound is a combo of mid tempo trip hop mixed with soul blues and funk. The band are writing and recording new material being co-produced by Guy Roche and Steve Diamond.

WALLA formed out of different times, places, and hardships. By random chance, these 5 individuals found each other through digital means and a common love for inventing new wavelengths. The sound reflected confusion and hopelessness during a time of tough life decisions and rough financial circumstances. But through sheer perseverance and the culmination of different influences (everything from pop, funk, samba, rock, metal, folk, disco, and neo-psychedelia) WALLA quickly made an indestructible pact to maintain strong melodies and lyrics, putting above and beyond care and effort into each decibel of sound produced (almost to the point of neuroticism), and allowing each song to breathe its own life and soul. "We loved the idea of not knowing what type of song we would come up with next." Follow @TheWallaBand

Beca reveals a fresh, dark, fearless sound that’s all her own. Musically gifted at a young age, she graduated from the Juilliard School and traveled the world, performing with an array of artists while developing her own path and voice. Bursting onto the indie pop scene in 2012, her first two EP’s were released via UK label, This Is Music Ltd. (Charli XCX, Little Boots). The breakthrough hits earned praise from Filter Magazine who said “her talent for whimsical sounds and a breezy voice is worth listening to over and over again” and from Stereogum who described her music as “wispy, ethereal electro pop.”
Nicky Davey is a rock and soul band from Los Angeles, CA. Founded by Hollywood’s wunderkind vocalist Nicky Green and Lincoln, Nebraska’s prodigious guitarist Davey Rosser.
Seamlessly blending the sonorities of NWA era west coast G-funk with the country air-like serenity of bluegrass and southern rock, it’s clear the band breaks the mold of cookie cutter industry corporate rock that inundates the contemporary landscape. All the way from 2012, We got a taste of Macklemore and Ryan Lewis during their unforgettable performance on our 222th Hunnypot Radio show!
We wish them the same if not more success in the future!
Hottub's favorite was when they played, "And We Danced," starting at 7 minutes in!
We’re invoking ole-ole-ole all around. In a rare (collect) call E.T. told us it was A.O.K. to feature him in his Arc de Dumpdump Atari 2600 video game.
Not only did we make a video from a previous album without having finished videos for our current album, but we also used archival footage from Lost in Space and the US Army. On the video game front, Defender also makes an appearance.
Nothing says alienation from people like aliens. Enjoy.

Kicking off our live music segment was Indie Folk Singer/Songwriter, JULIET PIPER. Juliet performed songs from her Wonder & Time EP. Our next guest was London based songwriter, CHESNEY HAWKES. Best known for his 90's pop smash "The One and Only", Chesney is still at it and continues to write and produce based in LA. Chesney joined us for a special sit down interview and live performance where he delivered a calming and joyful acoustic guitar and piano set. Joining us from our own backyard, was SWING HERO performing a tasty alternative post-punk rock that left us all with a rebel attitude. THE WEST COAST BOUNCERS hit the stage real hard! Residing in LA, they spun a killer set, you need to experience. Closing out the night was N0VEL who's Dance/Pop styling sparked the dance party.
BIG THANKS to all who came out and enjoyed the 308th Hunnypot Radio Show!! Approximately 50,000 singles were released in the UK during the nineties. With five weeks at the top, the twentieth most successful release of that entire decade was ‘The One and Only’, the lead song from the soundtrack of the film “Buddy’s Song” sung by a 19 year old Chesney. The song has gone on to be the subject of numerous compilation albums, TV ads, TV theme music, film soundtracks and, now a student anthem, continues to top ‘Best pop song of the nineties’ polls.
Chesney has worked with writers and producers from a broad section of the industry, among them Mark Goldenberg (The Eels), Jesse Valenzuela (The Gin Blossoms) and Counting Crows producer Marvin Etzioni. Other collaborators include Howard Jones, the Police’s Stuart Copeland, Nik Kershaw, Bijou Phillips and more Rob Davis (co-writer of Kylie’s Can’t Get you out of My Head). Artists continue to cover his songs and he has had material recorded by three international Pop Idol winners. Tweet @ChesneyHawkes chesneyhawkes.com
Conceived by Marshall Gallagher (ex-Solar Bear, touring guitarist for 3OH!3) in 2011, Swing Hero is an amalgam of shimmery dreamo and virtuosic post-grunge. The delivery is heavy, pretty and deceptively straightforward. The subject matter: growing up and dealing with heartbreak is exhausting, no matter who you are. Music fans will find a nostalgic comfort in layer after layer of warm guitar, mid-tempo pocket grooves and vocals that are both lyrically sharp and melodically contagious.
For the band, 2014 brings the prospect of at least one brand new release, shows spanning the west coast and midwest, and a chance to prove their true prowess in the wake of their recent relocation to Los Angeles. Swing Hero is climbing steadily, gunning for soft spots and sentimental hearts around the globe. swingheroband.com Follow @swinghero

Individually these two have conquered modern music. From underground dance to classic rock, these two super DJ/Producers have energized every note and beat possible. But together they form one of the newest and most watched production teams of today “The West Coast Bouncers” featuring guest vocalists Fatman Scoop & Blake Lewis will soon be a name to surpass the countless number of awarded songs and remixes the duo has individually accomplished.
