Jules & the Howl is the culmination of a five-year journey. I started off my music career as a Chicago-based pop-rock solo artist under the stage name Julianne Q in 2015. As a solo artist I explored a number of different genres before finally finding my identity in blues and classic rock with a modern twist. Inspired by Janis Joplin, Freddie Mercury and Aretha Franklin, I formed the blues rock band Julianne Q & the Howl in early 2018. We played gigs all over the Chicagoland area. We were a family. A group of like-minded artists striving to create a liberating experience for our fans.
Then it all came crashing down. In October 2018, after barely five months together, all of my band members - my second family - left. Julianne Q & the Howl literally broke up the day after our EP release show. I needed a new start. So I moved to LA and decided to change my name to Jules & the Howl.
Jules is the nickname that my friends and loved ones call me. To me, nicknames are a source of warmth, trust and familiarity. That’s what I want I want my fans to feel. I want to be raw and honest and welcome you into a community. A tribe. I want you to feel a part of my community, like a wolfpack.
The Howl references Howlin’ Wolf, a Chicago Blues artist who heavily influenced the Rolling Stones. It honors my hometown and the era of music that most resonates with me: 1969, Woodstock, classic rock and roll. When I saw footage of Woodstock, it was a cathartic release of energy and emotion; a feeling of kinship within the audience. All inspired by the music. I also howl when I’m on stage. It’s how I sing. I growl. I wail. I pour out all of my emotions. The Howl is the release of everything pent up inside of me begging to be free.
I want you to experience the Howl with me. I want you to be a part of a tribe where I hope you can feel loved and accepted as you are. A member of a wolfpack. A unified release and sense of freedom so that together we can feel the power of the Howl. You + me = an even better Howl, an unstoppable awe-inspiring force of honesty. So let’s build that community together.
Fencer, the self-defined garage opera band, is leading a new era of rock music with their own undeniably, dynamic sound. The Los Angeles-based trio consists of vocalist and guitarist Field Cate, bassist Scott Sauve, and drummer Cameron Sauve. Only two years after their inception, they became fan-favorite openers for notable acts such as Badflower, The Wrecks, and Dead Poet Society.
Tackling the stigma surrounding mental health and its struggles, Field’s emotive and frenetic vulnerability resonates with listeners to further solidify the band’s electric presence. The trio have racked up an impressive 2 million listens across all streaming platforms, despite having not even released their debut album. Field’s synesthesia (seeing music in color), Scott’s vigorous bass-lines, and Cameron’s expertise in self-producing flow together to create an eccentric style that is certain to become rock’s newest novelty.
Hailing from Delta State in Nigeria, Donna Adja is a multiple award-winning Afrobeat recording artist based in California. She infuses African sound and style into danceable Afropop music. Donna’s artistic career began in church at 15, which led her to pursue singing and songwriting professionally at 22.
Donna’s first break in the music industry was working as a featured vocalist with top Nigerian recording artists such as Solid Star, Harry Song, Dezign, and others. Soon, she took the lead in putting together her own band, Daz Entertainment, which became the in-house talent at the prestigious Sheraton Lagos hotel, where they performed five shows a week. During their multi-year run, she and her 14-piece band performed for two different Nigerian presidents, while Donna herself did solo shows in the UK, Dubai, and Australia.
As a budding solo artist, Donna was featured in top Nigerian magazines like Vanguard and The Sun, among others. She had multiple singles featured on MTV Base, Africa, and other top stations. Donna also had two hits on Nigerian radio, “Shut Up” and “Gaga.” Since relocating to the US, her releases include “I Like Your Body,” with over a million views on YouTube, and more recently, “Breathe,” and “Oghene Do.”
Donna is the consummate songwriter and a unique vocalist, whose sights are firmly fixed on making addictive songs that cross international borders. She brings a wide repertoire of skills to her stage show, even designing and building her own costumes. To experience Donna Adja live is to have an unforgettable encounter with a true artist.

Megan Graney is a Bay Area musician known for her healing lyrics and colorful production. She has performed a variety of genres, including jazz, americana, gospel, folk, and choral music, and has earned accolades such as singing background vocals for Rita Ora and performing at Capitol Studios. Megan has also performed at The Village Studios and The Descanso Gardens Summer Series, and has worked as a studio manager for film composer Heitor Pereira and assistant to Andrew Lockington. Her second single, "Waves," deals with the concept of grief after the passing of her father in 2020.
Alethea’s voice gives you chills. Her powerful performances leave you wanting more.
Whether with bare piano keys or dashes of ear-tingling electronica, she explores her own relationships with a subtlety that captures the raw yearning inside all of us.
Her confessional torch folk sounds like Sarah McLaughlin mixed with EDM and a touch of PJ Harvey and Shakira. On stage and in her music videos, her soul finds fiery expression.
Alethea grew up in the country of Hubbard, Oregon as well as the city of Portland, Oregon. She has performed all over the US and the world including Germany, China, Sacramento, San Francisco, Idaho, Oregon, and New York. She discovered she wanted to be a musician in a tunnel in Freiburg, Germany after writing the song “Butterflies”
This is her second concert in LA and second co-produced event.

James Barre has come a long way, starting in what is unmistakably pop, releasing his first song when he was in the eight grade. He has evolved greatly since then, finding home in an alternative, punchy sound. With lyrics like a hand grenade, his (in progress) debut album seeks to take you on a journey through his mind. The good, the bad, and the questionable.
Cayden Corbett is an Asian American Singer/Songwriter/Producer who seems to acknowledge no boundaries between styles or eras inside his music career. Creating and performing music from all forms of genres but is known best as is an Alternative Pop/R&B artist.
Originally from a small town in Utah but now based in Los Angeles, Corbett recently joined a collective of professional musicians and producers called Outdonesia. After years of writing/producing alone, as a leading artist in the new group Corbett believes his songwriting has been elevated to its full potential with "Outdonesia" and has become more personal and relatable than ever before.
Where do you go when you can’t take it anymore? A question posed by philosophers and loners alike for a millenia that only leads to more questions. The answers as expansive as they are limited, dictated by a moment’s state of mind and communicated solely through action. A healthy approach to such a question answers through song or any constructive activity that refuses to indulge the hopelessness that “it” entails.
‘Sanitarium’, Fencer’s lead single off their imminent self-titled debut album relegates this hopelessness to the air above. While the body lingers in its depressive state and the mind moves at a goldfish’s pace, Fencer’s resolve to ‘build a sanitarium in the sky’ is one of the more poetic solutions to the dwindling spirit of a burgeoning emo band. There have been murmurs that the analog sound formerly known as “music” is slowly gaining steam. While individualistic Emo-tech has resurrected the genre and pacified those coming of age, the pendulum is swinging back to The Industry’s public enemy number one: the band. Through thoughtful lyrics, engaging structure and shared ability to play tangible instruments, Fencer offers the feel and freshness of a garage band to a generation who would be forgiven for thinking that was just something that came on their MacBook.
Creating a through line of sound and color, the ‘Sanitarium’ video deepens the scope of Fencer’s world, building on their preceding videos and other visual aids. Opening with our aforementioned question, we meet our loner boy protagonist languishing on a solitary swing in the middle of a vast body of water. His only companion is a tauntingly distant mailbox. His head replaced by a blue box once recognized as a desktop monitor. His face, a placid black screen. The sea quickly evaporates to the next frame and our friend is now hanging out aboard a ship’s skeleton, equally as stranded on dry land. His first mate is a Donald Duck plush and his phone, once Fencer Blue, has been weathered to match its place in history. Without the possibility of a connection, our boxy friend bounces around searching for other blue things and places with vibrant color adrift in a dry, sandy gray and forgotten inland town.
Once friends are found they are equally as faceless, though much more unsettling. These players convey the feeling that when you’re searching for a break, getting kicked in the head is better than being alone. Chasing a dream can bring both things, but when you find yourself in the rubble of screens at least you have the music to come back to.
Ultimately, Fencer’s ‘Sanitarium’ despite its glorification of mediocrity transcends above its own expectations to become a solid single that builds excitement for what’s to come. Be sure to tune into your platform of choice for “Fencer” the album and come see these angsty boys and their instruments at The Mint on February 27th. Hunnypot Approved.

"Howlin’ Moon" is a musical project that has been performing in San Diego since 2011. Their raw, raspy vocals, emotive lyrics, and bluesy riffs make you want to move and dance while you listen. Many of their original tunes tell vivid stories harkening back to their Texas roots, captivating audiences with the narratives of their songs. Make sure to attend the show and share in the remarkable and unforgettable experience that is Howlin’ Moon.
Emo-rap-post-apocalypse-psychedelic-r&b-grunge artist Alec Beretz volunteered to write his own bio and is regretting it with every keystroke. Known cultishly for his debut song “Peep This”, he carried his initial buzz to doing features with T.I. and OMB Peezy. Alec Beretz is known by his fans to release above-average music once every paradigm shift. He has promised (with failure punishable by exile) to release every banger and ballad he’s got in 2023.

GLITTER TRASH PLAYED THEIR FIRST SHOW IN REDFORD, MI AT THE DOUBLE OO PUB ON JANUARY 30, 2010. THE BAND WAS CREATED BY VOCALIST JENNA JAMES MULLINS, A SELF-TAUGHT MUSICIAN WITH NO PREVIOUS BAND EXPERIENCE. SHE WROTE LYRICS AND COMPOSED A NUMBER OF SONGS AS DOCUMENTED ON “WRECKAGE”, THE BAND’S 1ST SELF-RELEASED ALBUM IN 2011. JENNA CREATED THE BAND AS A DIVERSION AND ESCAPE FROM SOME INTENSE PERSONAL ISSUES GOING ON IN HER LIFE. SHE ENLISTED A NUMBER OF DETROIT AREA MUSICIAN FRIENDS TO GET THE BAND STARTED.
DURING THE EARLY YEARS OF THE BAND, JENNA’S SELF-DESTRUCTIVE BEHAVIOR ONSTAGE CREATED A NUMBER OF PROBLEMS WITH LOCAL MUSIC VENUES. FUELED BY HER ANXIETY AND OUT-OF-CONTROL STAGE ANTICS, THE GROUP STARTED TO GET BANNED FROM A LARGE NUMBER OF DETROIT AREA STAGES, INCLUDING SOME OF WHICH THE BAND HAD NEVER BEFORE PLAYED. THE BAND’S WILD REPUTATION PRECEDED THEM AND WAS TAKING A TOLL ON THEIR ABILITY TO PLAY IN METRO-DETROIT.
IN 2017, JENNA MADE THE DECISION TO MOVE THE BAND FROM DETROIT TO LOS ANGELES. THE BAND ERUPTED BACK ONTO THE SCENE PLAYING A NUMBER OF WILD AND WELL ATTENDED HIGH ENERGY SHOWS. A ROCK HYBRID COMBINING ELEMENTS OF PUNK, CLASSIC ROCK, HARD ROCK, ALTERNATIVE, GLAM, AND METAL.
Dedicated fans of Shiragirl know: she's always going to speak her mind, and she's always going to act on behalf of the things she believes in. Nobody told Shiragirl to show up at the Warped Tour in the early '00s and create a makeshift stage for female punk performers — but she saw a woeful lack of representation and decided to do something about it. Tour organizer Kevin Lyman noticed, acknowledged that Shiragirl was right, and allowed her to host an official stage. Over 200 female-fronted acts would play the Shiragirl Stage - including Joan Jett, Paramore (on their first tour ever), and Justina Valentine (current MTV star on Wild N' Out and other shows) - and it's become an essential part of the history of the Tour.
Shiragirl's advocacy didn't stop there. She's raised money for girls' charities, shot a live video at the Women's March, and pushed hard and effectively for gender equality throughout the music industry. Lately, she's been looking hard at the digital dystopia we've created and asking whether the world we've made with our phones and computers is optimal or even sustainable. "Antisocial Media," her latest single, picks up and extends the critique she began on the trenchant Andi Underground (produced by Tim Armstrong of Rancid). That six-song concept EP followed a rebel against techno-conformity who, in her irrepressible energy and determination to defy an oppressive system, resembles Shiragirl more than a little. "Antisocial Media" has the same punk rock energy and pop immediacy that made the Andi Underground EP such a delight. Expect big beats and buzzsaw guitars, a catchy melody, an irresistible riff, and pointed lyrics about pointless online activities. As always, Shiragirl is irreverent, funny, smart, and swaggering, and impossible not to root for.

The Tremolo Beer Gut are from Denmark/Sweden and there touring the US west coast from Seattle to San Diego. A 98% instrumental garage rock/spy surf combo. 5 LPs and a bunch of 45's on the rap sheet. Low maintenance/High performance 4 piece
Formed in a different millennium by Yebo and Sune Wagner from The Raveonettes – later joined by Per Sunding from Eggstone and The Great Nalna (when Sune moved to the states) and Jengo.
Nalna and Yebo has also played with Jon Spencer and Matt Vert - Ray’s Heavy Trash combo, Yebo also with Junior Senior, PowerSolo and Thee Attacks.
All in all a well seasoned and very spicy combo with a lot of garage rock pedigree and a guaranteed hot live show at your party/show/mother’s house.
Fronted by guitar-smashing, soul singing, anthem-writing buzzbomb Evan Foster, Seattle's BOSS MARTIANS are thee Rock & Roll jet boys to look for in 2008! Got Songs?? HELL YES!! At least, that is, according to Rolling Stone's David Fricke who anointed them "rising stars" referencing their addictive hooks, killer tunes, and super-charged performance in 2004 in New York City at Little Steven's International Underground Garage Festival alongside The Strokes and Iggy Pop (among many others!) SPIN Magazine, quick to get aboard, said "The Boss Martians' irresistible 'I Am Your Radio' should make them stars…" regarding the Foster-penned Power Pop instant-anthem. Taking it all over the top at the concert that day was the introduction the Martians received from the "Boss" himself – Bruce Springsteen – to 20,000 people!
Martian History Lesson: Evan Foster (guitar, vocals) and NickC (keys) met as teenagers in Tacoma, WA and discovered a mutual obsession with Garage, Punk, Surf, and Power Pop – basically all things COOL. They both wanted to start a band and take over the world – enter The Boss Martians!! The Martians uniquely combine the primal energy of Punk with the raw, unmistakable sound and swagger of Northwest Garage Rock (think The Sonics!!), English blue-eyed soul (think Small Faces and The Who!!), and the pure pop sensibility of a young, sneering Elvis Costello. Rounding out the band's low end thump and drum-killing bump, respectively, are "Scary" Scott Myrene on bass guitar and the mysterious, Spokane-born, Thomas Caviezel on drums.
Genre-defying recording artist, composer and producer Doll Machine has been electrifying stages with her unique and culture-challenging performances.
With roots in electronic, hip hop, pop, jazz, and punk, doll machine brings forth a new level of artistic authenticity and self expression. She’s co-written with Grammy-nominated Telepopmusik, house legend DJ Robbie Rivera and is currently working on a collaboration with Grammy-winning artist, Really Doe. She’s also the co-founder and creative director of monthly Japantown residency Multi-Player.

She started her career as part of the music teams for major network shows such as Dancing With The Stars (ABC), The Ellen Degeneres Show (WB), and America’s Best Dance Crew (MTV). Her love of music and the exploding media landscape guided her to join the Kobalt Music synchronization team to creatively pitch and clear music with networks, studios, music supervisors, production companies, and new media companies. Her time at Kobalt gave her extensive and broad experience in the synchronization world, dealing with all stakeholders in the creative and business process including record labels, songwriters, producers, musicians, managers, copyright, and marketing teams.
After seven years at Kobalt, Jennifer went back to her first love of content and storytelling and joined the music team on ABC’s American Idol.
After that show’s first ABC season, she was inspired in 2018 to launch her own music supervision company, “Rat Dance Party.” Rat Dance Party specializes in Film, TV (scripted and non-scripted), and new media (especially podcasts). With Rat Dance Party Jennifer has worked on projects produced by Showtime, Netflix, Paramount+, Viacom, Shorts TV, Amazon, Pluto TV, NBC, Voltage Pictures, Indican Productions, Gravitas, and many more.
Outside of music supervision, Jennifer has a passion for education and teaching. She is a faculty member in the Music Business program at the Los Angeles School of Music where she teaches music business and licensing as well as Music Supervision at LACM. Starting in the fall, she will be teaching Music Supervision at UCLA Extension. Besides education, advocacy work and volunteering is important for her. She volunteers at the Food Bank of Los Angeles, has helped planned fundraisers for Alliance San Diego (working with immigration rights), active with various Jewish organizations, as well as other organizations.
Jennifer is a Board of the Guild of Music Supervisors (GMS), a member of the Television Academy, Women In Film, Women In Media, Women In Music, and the Recording Academy, and The CCC.

Coyote Eyes is the alter ego of New York bred, Los Angeles based multi-disciplinary artist Jo Eubanks, also known as Lily Graves. The classical singer turned goth pop powerhouse is known for her unusual, emotionally charged voice, as well as her razor-sharp lyrics and eerie hooks. Her music is, like her, equally tragic and seductive. She began training as a classical vocalist at age 11, and by 16 she was sparking label interest for “having the pain of a 30 year old woman trapped in a child’s body”.
In 2018, Eubanks debuted the Coyote Eyes project, and after a gut-wrenching performance at iHeart Radio Live Sessions, quickly became known as the “Sylvia Plath of the Lower East Side”.
She sites her greatest influences as 90s film composers like Nellee Hooper, Clint Mansell, Cliff Martinez, and Trent Reznor & Atticus Ross, as well as grunge artists such as Garbage, Nirvana, Bush, and The Cranberries, so in 2020 she retreated to her creative lab with producer to find a way to merge them. Out of this Lily Graves was born. This evocative new project, set to release fall 2022, is filled with lush strings, cinematic soundscapes, and haunting vocals sure to tug at your heart strings and send shivers down your spine. Coyote Eyes is also one half of WTCH, a cinematic pop duo with 4 time Grammy nom Molly Cherryholmes.
