We welcome to the Hot Tub highly talented LA based hip hop, artist/producer E-TRAIN by way of Chicago, who is making his second appearance on the show. Our second featured guest of the evening is Amanda Jo Williams, a folk rock, country, singer-songwriter from Georgia who now resides in LA. The last guests of the evening are Phoenix based electronic, indie, pop rock band Peachcake. This eclectic trio is currently on tour in support of their latest EP titled This Wasn't Our Plan featuring the upbeat, electro dance single "You Matter". Last weeks Hunnypot Live radio show was an extreme surge of excitement. DJ Hot Tub Johnnie kicked it off right, with a banging track from LA's own Skull Tape "Anon Anon" and featured select cuts by The Shivers, The Chemical Brothers, Lil B and more. A Hot Tub set to definitely take note of!
Inglewood's 16 BARZ, set the tone perfectly and completely rocked the airwaves with a banging set of new cuts off his soon to be released LP 2000wHATevER. Check out the club banger "Imma Do It Better"and listen to his raw freestyle rhyming ability on "Look At Me Now".
Next on the decks was Hunnypot's DJ Wool, a producer, artist and also a member of The Glass came on and ignited the show. His set was dynamite and left you wanting more. Check out the DJ Wool's "Proof (Remix)" by Stuffa and "Strobelight".
Our last performers on the night were Furious + The Static Shock, comprising of both Furious George and acclaimed producer The Static Shock. Their performance was electric and the energy provided from Furious George will go down in Hunnypot lore. The LA electronic, alt pop duo has a new mixture mixture out titled 'Prince Furious Mixtape' featuring the signature tracks "Future Pop" and "Fiire".
The night was closed out with a solid set of hand picked selections by DJ Boom Shack, featuring hot new Miami hip hop, brand new completely exclusive Yael Meyer "Fire" and more. We also had a couple surprise special guests, Phil Rich came in with his hot new single "Shucky Ducky" and Shinobi Ninja premiered their new single "Brooklyn To Babylon".

Special DJ set by Hunnypot artist, producer, DJ Wool (The Glass). Wool comes from Ireland via New York and lives in Berlin, but has been in Cali and will be making a special appearance on the show. Expect to hear some killer electronic, dance remixes and blazin' new productions. Wool also a member of indie dance duo The Glass, have had their music in TV series such as Gossip Girl, CSI Miami, Lie To Me and more.
We welcome the new LA based electro/pop duo FURIOUS + THE STATIC SHOCK. Consisting of acclaimed producer 'The Static Shock' (Yo! Majesty, Raspberry Cocaine) and nineteen year old wizkid 'Furious' George Griffin. The duo's music is described as "tough pop", as heard by their first single "Fiire" – released on the latest, 'Prince Furious Mixtape'.
We will also have a fresh new hip hop artist Siqsteen Barz (pronounced 16 BARZ) out of Inglewood, coming on to preview his latest hotness and performance. Described as versatile hip hop, 16 BARZ practices the art of “obstacle rap”. Check out this latest banger "Imma Do It Better".

Our last guest and musical guest of the evening was rising new hip-hop artist Reason from Orlando, FL now based in LA. Reason, well known for his killer high energy performances' did not disappoint. Usually performing with his live band Reason still brought the heat, with DJ Addict providing the beats we heard new cuts off his latest release The Social Network incl…"In Retrospect" and "Go Reason". He closed the set with smooth, upbeat "Glass In The Air"off his The Cool Graduate EP. Check out Reason live at The Roxy, March 27th will a full band… it'll blow you away!

Our musical guests of the evening will be LA rock band Franklin Manor. Coming through in support of their lead single "Pushover", these guys are killing it with their mid 90's sound reminiscent of Alice In Chains. Franklin Manor will surely be bringing it live when they go all out at the Libertine!
Also we have very special guest Tracii Guns, of LA famed rock band L.A. Guns. Tracii will be on to perform a special acoustic set live on Hunnypot Radio!
DJ Boom Shack started the night off with a soothing new track "Soak It Up" by Houses out Chicago, which lead way into the brand new single "On/Off The Ledge by ROBOTANISTS. The highlights though were Starfuckers "Bury Us Alive" and LA hip-hop newcomer Reason with "Life Of A Star (feat. Raz)", as well as "Keepin It Gangsta" the latest from Gzus Piece. Our first special guest was none other than Jerry Davis of Fox Sports. The 28 year music industry veteran and pioneer came on the show and shut it down. Jerry spoke on his great career touching on his work at ASCAP where he helped guide some of today's most well known hip-hop artists like Ice Cube, Cypress Hill, Too Short and more! Jerry's set list was a compilation of the music that he says played a huge role for him as he was learning the game. His set included classics from Run D.M.C., Megadeth, Earth Wind & Fire and more.
Our final guest DJ was DJ Broadway straight out of Pasadena. Broadway came in with some pounding bass, spinning some classic old school hip-hop, r&b/ soul. A lover of hip hop, DJ Broadway began at Loud Records working A&R bringing us the likes of The Alkaholiks and Xzibit. The highlight of the night was "Bonita Applebum" as Broadway's bass had the room shaking with bottles hitting the ground!

Our first show of 2011 was a crazy fun time! We had some great guests, including a killer performance by up and coming electro/pop artist Amber Melody. Amber played a stripped down set with two back up singers, acoustic guitar and our favorite a cajon player! Her live sound is a great transition from what you will hear on her album and we think we bode very well in this new year. We recommend checking her out and catching one of her shows!
Our first industry guest DJ set of 2011 belonged to Sam Schulman (A&R Interscope Records). Sam who was also responsible for linking us to Amber Melody featured some killer new tastemaker artists. Including the latest from Compton's own Kendrick Lamar whose song "She Needs Me" (Remix) is catching some crazy buzz as he just signed to Aftermath Records. He also dropped Baby Blue with "Double Up" and the always enticing Deadmau5 with "Sofi Needs A Ladder"! Keep a look out for Kendrick Lamar as we see a huge 2011 in store for him.
Also featured at the show was Prince Sole whose song "All Day Lover" feat. Ray J has been featured on the Hunnypot website and been getting heavy play at radio. Prince came through to keep us up to date with his latest happenings and said we should be expecting a bangin' new single very soon!

Born in London, Amber Melody has been singing and writing music since she was 6 years old. She dropped out of school at a young age and moved to Los Angeles, surfing from couch to couch while developing her sound. Amber is currently producing a new EP with her co-producer Lil "Dom" Puente and they say it will sound like Gwen Stefani, Keith Sweat, Damian Marley's love baby. In 2015, Amber and Lil "Dom" Puente" released their debut EP Sicc Little Girls, featuring the single "Smile Hoe." Currently refining her sound for her next project, Amber Melody has the talent and attitude to take the music industry by storm.
Show #201 was the first of many as we make our way on to 300! DJ Hot Tub kicked the show off with plenty of goodness, featuring new songs from The Little Bear "Coldest Cloud", new Mother Mother "Simply Simple" and a haunting Hot Chip Remix of The Pharcyde's "Passin' Me By"! The sound in the Libertine was bumping as we moved forward with the show.
The Music Dept. from Los Angeles, stopped by and played a couple live songs and featured 2 new songs off their soon to be released EP. The 3 piece played beautifully, their song "Already Fell" which has been featured on One Tree Hill and is available on iTunes was a definitely a treat. Look for their song "Breaking" which was featured on the show and can be referenced on the playlist.
DJ Boom Shack took to the airwaves for an early set, featuring new music from Franklin Manor, The Satin Peaches from Detroit, and the latest from Cut Copy and Hellogoodbye! Our next musical guest was Paz, an LA hip hop/rock/pop artist that has a huge buzz right now with his Mixtape Young Broke & Fameless that has been downloaded over 500,000 times, came into the Hot Tub for a great 6 song performance. Paz, who plays the guitar himself, had backing players on the cajon and acoustic guitar. The highlights of the night were "Neptune + Mars" and his cover of "Bedrock". Keep your eye out on this one as we expect big things in the coming year!
David "Whitey" Weitzman (ole Songs) was our final guest DJ of the night. Whitey, came to us with a killer set of some bumpin new bangers from Cali Swag District "Back It Up and Dump It", Bassnectar "Wildstyle Method" and a Hunnypot favorite from Rad Omen with "Rad Anthem". The show was closed out with a classic sing-a-long, from The Eagles "Take It Easy"!
