Hunnypot Live sent a copper cassette tape with party music on a mission to the moon. At the last minute scientists loaded up a bunch of Tardigrades in the same shipment and that ship crash landed on the moon. Whatever happens to those Tardigrades, we know they'll be they'll be entertained immensely. Last night Hunnypot Live entertained the less "tardi" of the animal kingdom. A party startup DJ set from Hot Tub Johnnie. Jessica Gramuglia gave an outstanding debut interview about her journey to music supervision and the music that got her there. Emma Charles played epic emotional rock and pop music. Cheer Up Club brown everyone down to their level of snarky puppy rock. Down North tore the roof, walls and floor off the place with funky progressive punk soul music. Chris Truent didn't cut his class or bars while rapping for us and Hot Tub cleaned up the night with another dance party. (8/19/2019)
Jessica Gramuglia, based in Los Angeles but a born New Yorker, got her start in the big apple after receiving her Bachelors of Science in Music Industry from Northeastern University. With a wide variety of experience from records labels, artist management companies, promotions, and live music, she started working with local production companies to supervise their indie films. Chasing her sync dreams, she moved out to LA to accept a role in licensing at Warner/Chappell Music, Inc to later transition over to creative at Warner Bros. Television (Big Bang Theory, Fuller House, The Middle, Rizzoli & Isles etc.) and Freeform/ABC Family (Baby Daddy, The Letter, Monica the Medium, Young & Hungry, etc) later transitioning to live sports and branded content as World Surf League's first Music Coordinator.

It’s said the best singers wear their hearts on their sleeves and this is certainly true of 21 year old
folk-pop savant Emma Charles. Blending acoustic Americana vibes with savvy electronica soundscapes, Emma’s voice is a compelling vehicle for her lyrical tapestry of heartbreak and hope. Growing up in tiny Westport, Connecticut, Emma was deeply influenced by Carole King and Joni Mitchell. She soon spread her wings, earning a vocal scholarship at prestigious Berklee College of Music. Since graduating Emma has thrown herself into live performances, including with mentor Paula Cole.
She also spent much of this year on national tours with Howie Day & Tyler Hilton, announcing herself as the act to watch in 2019. Her debut single “Comfort In The Chaos” has garnered glowing reviews and is on its way to 30,000 streams. Emma has been interviewed for The Huffington Post, Buzzbands.la and Voyage LA. She is currently working with Uber producer Doug Schadt (Maggie Rogers, SHAED, Ashe) and her debut EP will be out later this year.

Raised on James Brown and Sam Cooke, Anthony Briscoe combines a style and emotional impact reminiscent of Prince in his vocal expressions and proudly steals the spotlight with his ballet-trained dancing while psychedelic-jazz guitarist Nick Quiller dominates the fretboard with a limitless imagination that explores the soundscape from high to low. Bassist Brandon Storms blends slap/pop bass lines with deep synth, and pitch bent solos that parallel guitar leads and Drummer Conrad Real glues together a foundation through impeccable groove and powerful chops, his finesse, intensity, and strength are evocative of Chris Coleman and John Blackwell.

Bridging the gap between the roots of hip hop and the new generation of rap music, 23 year old hip hop artist and LA native Chris Truent discovered his love for rhythm and poetry at a young age and has been carefully crafting and curating music on all platforms ever since. Working with LA Producer Vinny, the two create music that merges thought provoking lyricism with the current soundscapes of the genre.
We booked everyone at Hunnypot Live #422 by texting "Number Neighbors" until they agreed. Then we used the FaceApp to make everyone look over 15. It worked. Hot Tub Johnnie dove in with a playlist panacea for all of Pangaea. Michael Pelleg took us on a wild ride of his music business education and jobs that got him to ABC TV Music. Nyles Lannon ripped and curled our toes with dangling jangling set. Duke Evers, boy was he evers hard rocking. Pacific Radio brought the party down upbeat tunes. Steve Dukeheart was a multimedia rhythm machine and Hot Tub returned to the decks to keep everyone boot scootin. (8/5/2019)
Michael Pelleg. Certified Hairy Person. Follower of the Church of Bob Ross. Aspiring stock photo ankle model. Music Coordinator with the ABC Studios music team.
In his 3 years with ABC, he’s worked on such shows as Black-ish, American Housewife, Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Criminal Minds, and Daredevil, among many others. Before his time at ABC, he took a rather meandering journey through several different jobs within the music industry, working at a talent agency, artist management company, record label, and concert promoter before landing in the Film/TV music space where he’d always wanted to be. If it weren’t for Lisa Simpson (RIP Bleeding Gums Murphy), he never would have started playing the saxophone as a kid, starting him on his path toward a career in music.
Nyles Lannon (formerly N. Lannon) returns in March 2019 with The Clouds and the Sea, his first release since 2015’s Falling Inside. The EP is a sparkling collection of introspective psych-pop and starts an exciting new chapter in Lannon’s musical evolution. Drawing on his work as guitarist in shoegaze band Film School, the songs are bathed in a layer of dreamy atmosphere but maintain a focused clarity and melodic flare that has become Lannon’s staple.
The first single from the EP, the hook-laden pop song “Love Again” was featured in the NBC show New Amsterdam and aired on January 15th.
Moving away from the singer/songwriter bedroom style of his previous releases to a more band-focused, open rock sound, the The Clouds and the Sea is a taste of what is to come with Lannon’s music: a melding of 80’s New Wave, acoustic pop and modern chillwave, channelling The Police and Fleetwood Mac but layered with synths and washy guitar. Lannon’s heart-felt lyrics pair nicely with the sounds of his seasoned band, a group he has had in place since touring for his last album, and it shows right from the start - with the Motown-style drumming of Jon Langmead, driving bass by Michael Rivo, high harmonies/synths by Nichole Kreglow and bold lead guitar by Chad Bredehoft all shining on the title track.
The production has been a family affair. Lannon recorded the EP at his home studio in San Rafael, CA, with the help of his bandmates and his 10 year old son, Skye, often manning the controls. His friend Count (Tycho, DJ Shadow) mixed and mastered, and his pals Alex Kemp (Poolside/Rhye, ESX) and Halou chimed in with remixes. Rogue Wave drummer Pat Spurgeon, who Lannon met while touring as the band’s keyboard player, provided a drum track for the cover of Missing Persons’ “Destination Unknown”. Friend/poet Julie Butler provided lyrics for the title track, and friend/photographer Laura Plageman the cover. The Clouds and the Sea is coming out on the same label that released Lannon’s three other solo albums starting with Chemical Friends in 2004 - Badman Recording Co. Lastly, movie director and friend Jonathan Caouette (maker of the cult-favorite Tarnation) is producing a series of videos.
Feeling the love and camaraderie of making music together is important to Lannon. “Music has been such an important part of my life these last few years, it’s my solace. I’m so grateful to have creative friends around me contributing,” Lannon reveals.
His work with director Jonathan Caouette has evolved into a continuous collaboration. Caouette’s psychedelic-collage approach has influenced Lannon’s writing, and vice versa. Videos and songs have multiple versions and remixes. The first video “Hiding” premiered on IndieWire, to be followed by many more.

Born from an unbridled urge to play pure, loud, energetic rock and roll, Seattle’s Duke Evers comprised of Josh Starkel, guitar/vox and Kyle Veazey, drums have crafted an infectious indie pop album that begs the listener to dance. Their forthcoming record, Dreams and Desires That Are Common to Youth, showcases the innate chemistry at the center of the duo’s world.
Following the success of their debut EP, 2014’s Handfull of Pennies, and their first full-length album Velvet Hips the band flirted with label life, uncovering different sides of themselves with each incarnation, before realizing their truest form was in their roots as an unrestrained duo.
There 2nd full-length album releases May 3, 2019, Dreams and Desires That Are Common to Youth is 9 tracks of pure energy. Produced by Casey Bates (Portugal. The man, INXS, MxPx), the new record is a compelling landscape of lush tones, electrified rhythms, and honest songwriting that feels both fresh and familiar. With its release, Duke Evers deliver one of the most exciting records to come out of Seattle this year, proving that intuition and independence are a force to be reckoned with.

“You know those bands that the moment you get to the first chorus of their first song you realize, holy f*ck, they are gonna be HUGE. Introducing, Pacific Radio. With a penchant for big freaking hooks, thundering bass lines and singalong choruses, they remind me of The Killers, Weezer, the Airborne Toxic Event, Eagles of Death Metal and early Foo Fighters all poured into one flaming mojito.”
~Keith Creighton (Pop Dose)
Pacific Radio is a sonic collision of energetic garage rock with L.A. heartbreak. It's origins can be traced back to when Joe Robinson (singer/ guitar) and Joe Stiteler (bass) left L.A. punk band The Ringers in search of a more dynamic sound and space. The duo grew to a quartet with the addition of Kyle Biane (Guitar) and Hyke Shirinian (Drums). Stiteler, Biane and Shirinian created the perfect backdrop for Robinson’s catchy melodies.
After the release of their debut EP, 2017 saw the band hit the road with their wildly charismatic live show. From their home base in L.A. to Austin to Seattle to Napa’s Bottlerock Music Festival, the band began winning over fans from festivals to dive bars.
Between tour dates, the band retreated to the studio with Grammy nominated engineer and producer, Eric Weaver, putting the finishing touches on their upcoming full length album “Pretty, but Killing Me”. They diligently transformed their songs from wild rock show crowd-pleasers into a meticulously crafted record inspired by their heroes.
"Pacific Radio is a band that listeners will fall in love with from their Pop Rock to Punk Rock tempos and upbeat sound. Even with a theme around heartache and love each song has its own sound and style.” ~Alexis Coleman (Side Stage Magazine)
"...even though I hadn’t heard a single song from this band, their performance had me dancing like a maniac before the first song even finished" ~Kylie Banks (The Music Court)

Steve Dukeheart’s music is a throwback in the best sense of the word. It invokes the work of craftsmen like John Sebastian, Gerry Rafferty, and Marshall Crenshaw; writers who, at their best, created melodies that could steal your heart.
-Jon Langmead, Pop Matters
He was once a professional Sound Man. That changed in 2013 when Steve Dukeheart retired his Maglite, and set about making music. He had spent a decade of nights on busses and vans, in hotel rooms, and parking lots. Jotting lines down in a notebook considering it all: “I can’t explain why I’m so serious...why I think it’s so dangerous to lose control”. Lines that would become the anthemic chorus from his debut “I’m Serious”. The record is a nimble seven song set, ranging from the Genesis inspired title track, to the Paul Simon-esque “Blue Eyed Boy”.
The work doesn’t end at the song. A Steve Dukeheart live show consists of a five piece band marrying his music with a narrative video projection. Driving visual material from his #gimmeaminute instagram project, the live show is as much for the eyes as it is for the ears.
Our interview guest, Amanda Jones, got called in to a last minute scoring session and DJ Spectrum had a tantrum in a bagel shop when he found out. We filled the tub with artists to interview and learned some things about Sophie and Boogie Whip. Sophie Strauss played catchy organic pop. Jakey Heartbreak & The Bad Skulls played, the music of rock n' roll and were joined by DJ Spectrum for a song. Dirty Lovely Creatures played their brand of scary truths rock. DIRTY LOVELY CREATURES is an odd mix of sounds. It’s influences range from Germany’s Boozoo Bajou to SoCal’s own Fu Manchu. Chris Brann’s Ananda Project and Shawn Lee’s Ping Pong Orchestra are also heavy inspiration’s for this unusual act. The lyrics center around human secrets, and “the things that people do, when they think no one is watching...” The majority of the songs are written by the group’s frontman, Boogiewhip, aka; lead singer of the Cabaret Rock n’ Roll Show, HOT SAUCE HOLIDAY. And they (mostly) chronicle the thoughts and opinions he carries towards the situations (and people) he witnessed during his “cult” upbringing in Northern California, circa, the late 90’s and early 2000’s. Cynical and sexy, vulgar and articulate, DLC is a one-of-a-kind music experience you’ve got to hear AND see to believe.

Nandes is a Compton CA artist focused and determined to bring positive awareness and prestige back to the city that he loves while making thought provoking yet fun music in the process. Having being raised by a single mother Nandes is well aware of the struggles that can be ever so present in most urban communities. It was these very factors that led Nandes to write his very first rap at the age of 11, although he did not seriously start to write until his senior year of high school when a friend encouraged him to do so.
Fast forward several years after dealing with various trials and tribulations within his collegiate education, and working various jobs Nandes released his free download debut EP entitled " The Talented Tenth Compton Era" on Soundcloud, Noisetrade.com and other various music platforms in the summer of 2015. Nandes has accomplished quite a bit in his journey to the top of the music game such as opening up for Baby Bash, Dee-1 and Slum Village and the best is yet to come!
Nandes has said " I just want to inspire and restore hope in our communities much like the jobs artists such as Tupac, Nas, Lupe Fiasco, and Kanye West has done for their communities, I just want to be in the the company of greats!
There weren't too many goals when we started, but we definitely wanted to get to show #420. We made it! We are still riding a high. Hot Tub Johnnie dabbed us with party tunes. Madeline Ziecker lit up the tub with her origin story and a favorite tracks playlist. Deavion got us up from "couch lock" to pop and rock. Bonavega dropped a musical (bong) load all over our faces. MZ 007 smoked us out with her rap hooks. Elevaters got us lifted like Samson and Hot Tub closed the night with our 420th famous dance party. (7/8/19)
Madeline Ziecker spent the past decade living in France, Hawaii, Nashville, and NYC working as a journalist, commercial photographer, and branded content video producer. Upon moving back to her hometown of LA a couple of years ago, she realized that she was a workaholic that wasn’t getting a buzz off of any of the careers she’d pursued, no matter how skilled she was at them or how much time and drive she threw at them.
She decided to go back to her roots in every sense – her family’s business is music supervision and entertainment, and music has always been her first language and lifeblood. At 15 she was scouting bands for her dad to license for shows like Mad Men and Weeds. All grown up, she wanted to do it in a more official capacity. After interning and coordinating for some of the raddest, most creative women in music supervision, she’s found a home at ABC working for a true queen (think Elizabeth, not Freddy) of industry, Dawn Solér. Madeline’s now a practicing workaholic again with a full-blown addiction to this work in TV music that she feels privileged to be a part of every day. If you ask nicely though, she may still take your picture.

Born July 7th in Anchorage, Alaska. Deavion is based in Los Angeles, CA after relocating from Miami, Florida to pursue a career in music as a singer and song writer.
Deavion is known for his smooth voice, amazing dance moves and boy-next-door charm. He creates music in various genres, including Folk, Urban Pop, R&B and Alternative.
Some of his influences include Stevie Wonder, Busta Rhymes and Tears for Fears. After working with well-known musicians, producers and writers in the LA area he will be releasing a new EP in June 2019. You can find him performing at various shows in the Los Angeles area and music festivals in 2020. Deavion hopes his listeners find his music therapeutic as it has been a healthy outlet and a life long form of therapy for him.
Extracting inspiration from Queen, Talking Heads, Led Zeppelin, David Bowie, Duran Duran, Reggie Watts, and The Screaming Headless Torsos, BONAVEGA established himself in 2015 as THE new look and sound of performance based, theatrical pop music. Focusing on entertainment he builds his sounds and songs themes, at his home studio, around ideas and subject matter that are very relatable but then tells the stories in a way that are dramatic and unorthodox in order to captivate the audience.
Underneath his gaudy, ostentatious shell however, BONAVEGA has a deeper, fully aware intention for his seemingly trite "song and dance.” Zeroing in on corruption in the church and mocking bigotry with his sensual, homo-erotic, dance moves, the high society music industry and religious advocates protest his cheeky songs and taunting stage antics. Both sides of the coin feel he doesn’t squeeze into their box and fear his almost flippant disregard for fitting in or following suit. Poised and outspoken, he defends himself as a result of, rather than a cause of, a stifling religious upbringing and a “square” objectifying society.
BONAVEGA, completely aware of the ever changing musical climate, has released genre defying EP's and singles that individually hold their own weight and almost completely disregard one another in a way that continues to push his overly-confident out of the box way of thinking about music and life. The only thing left is the future. BONAVEGA has plans for touring/festivals/and premiers. He asks his followers to keep their ears and eyes wide open for whats to come and to also, as always “Take it off your mind… and take it to the floor."

Elevaters are a Los Angeles-based independent hip-hop, dance and soul group comprised of songwriters Sam Golzari and Benjamin Hall, producer/multi-instrumentalist David Noily, Drummer (and party starter) Andre Morton and emcee Miles Gregley.
The Elevaters' first full-length album 'Rising' was hailed for its rootsy, meaningful and clever tracks. Produced by Ian Kirkpatrick (Neon Trees, Plain White T's) the album featured 17 songs with musical influences as eclectic and diverse as their subject matter.
The Elevaters' notoriously infectious live shows took over Los Angeles garnering new legions of fans. The group toured opening for the likes of The Roots, Janelle Monae, Shwayze and Bruno Mars and released two EP's - 'Live 'n' Remixed' (2009) and 'Vol.1, Tonight' (2010).
In early 2012, the group's founding members set out in the studio to record their sophomore full-length record. The new album, titled 'Come Alive", (due in early 2014) is a leap into a decidedly newer sound. The record showcases the groups' evolution from traditional rock/funk arrangement/instrumentation into an exciting new fusion of analog and digital soundscapes. True to the energy of their live shows, the groups' new record is dance heavy with a mix of new disco, house, soul, and hip-hop - a broad sound which maintains its appeal while making a bold artistic statement.

Informed by his clear-eyed musings on human interaction, 21-year-old singer/songwriter Gavin Haley weaves personal experiences into timeless narratives that feel universally relatable. A former professional cyclist turned musician, Haley’s genre-bending approach to pop pairs a plethora of contemporary influences with introspective lyrics, underpinned by an enduring sense of hope. If raw emotions are the muse of songwriters, faith and optimism would be Haley’s calling card. Singles like “Picture Me Now” (which debuted last year), illustrate his innate talent for curating emotion against vivid, yearning soundscapes. Finding inspiration from a gamut of artists, including Ed Sheeran, Frank Ocean, Earl Sweatshirt and Bruce Springsteen, Haley admits that he cares little about conforming to a specific sound. Instead, he prefers to concentrate on the storytelling, crafting narratives that feel accessible at all levels. “My music will make you feel good,” he explains simply.
Born in Michigan, Haley and his family relocated to Louisville, Kentucky, when the singer was just four-years-old. There in a close-knit community of neighbors and siblings, his passion for singing emerged. “My parents are very religious. When I was younger I would go to youth group a lot. That kind of led to me getting into more instruments and music, but back then I didn’t really have time because athletics sort of took over my life,” he admits.
By 16, the family had relocated to Northern California and athletics had more than taken over Haley’s life, it was his life. While his parents and siblings remained in California, he relocated to Belgium for half the year where he competed with the national cycling team. While there, Haley suffered an injury that resulted in a collapsed lung, setting back his travel by several months. During his recovery, he explored and found inspiration in Europe’s underground music scene, becoming enamored with energetic live performances filled with a grit and energy.
Such autonomy at so young an age greatly influenced Haley, who reflects that the discipline of professional athletics caused him to grow up quickly. “I definitely didn’t have normal teenage years,” he muses. Still, the structured life of an athlete taught him valuable life lessons, the themes of which are often reflected in lyrics that feel and sound years older than the artist. In “Fades Away,” his first single, which landed on Spotify’s “Viral 50” chart at numbers 1, 8 and 18 respectively in Australia, the UK and America, Haley’s heartfelt reflections rise over a sparse backbeat (complete with finger snaps), ultimately detailing what it feels like to love someone who is just out of reach.
In the summer of 2016 with just a handful of songs under his belt, a then 19-year-old Haley left cycling behind and moved permanently to Los Angeles. Inspired by a different city and wildly new experiences, he completed an additional 250 songs by the end of the summer. “At first I was making music I thought other people would like,” he explained. “When I moved to LA, I started creating music that I liked. I think that was really important. Staying true to yourself, no matter what it is - whether it’s a rap song, or a song from the ‘40s or the ‘60s - being able to pull different pieces from all of those and put them into something that feels good to you, I think that resonates to the world.”
The meaning of staying true has shifted for Haley in over the years. The juxtaposition between his life as an athlete and a musician offer endless fodder for writing and thought, but so does life on the West Coast. And while making people feel good will always remain at the heart of his sound, his exposure to both pop and praise songs is finding new junctures with electronic and R&B-facing sounds.
Haley recently signed with Red Bull Records and is set to release new music throughout the rest of this year. He is currently working on his debut solo album.

Geena digs deep into her artistry through songwriting and collaboration; constantly working to uncover her truth. Her experiences in Los Angeles, NYC, Nashville and London have helped Geena uproot her story. Upcoming features with Olmos (“Antidote”) and the Cliqque (“You and Me”) will be released soon.
Geena’s pop sensibility and vulnerability collide effortlessly on her new EP, ‘Head Space,’ coming Spring 2019. Look for lead single, “Diamonds,” arriving in March.

Looking to capture the apple pie-eyed idealism of traditional Americana music, The Little Miss can be most accurately described as a romantic, twenty-first century take on a seemingly simpler time.
With roots in jazz, blues and folk music, the sound of The Little Miss ranges from the gritty guitar riffs of the old west to one-take, twangy samplings straight from the plains.
Influences include Woody Guthrie's simplicity, Frank Sinatra's theatrical nature, Cole Porter's wit, Billie Holiday's pain, and Bob Dylan's right foot.

Indie alternative, singer-songwriter from Louisiana. Her music is perfumed with jazz and
down-in-your-gut soul. She parades her roots honestly like the street bands of New

Brittany’s powerhouse voice is the reason why she’s compared to Amy Winehouse, Adele, and Janis Joplin. She loves to make people feel deep, go places within that they’ve been afraid of, cause them to think and move beyond to something greater, to some other worldliness. Life is her inspiration, the highs, lows, in-betweens, and all the greats who have dared to be fully themselves in this industry. It is her purpose and passion to use music to bridge the gaps between the mundane and the heavenlies, like the greek goddess iris.

Meet WOLVES, a band that is breaking barriers and pushing the boundaries of modern music with their infectious blend of genres. Consisting of Marc Avery, Sean Carney, and Rockwell Sands, the Los Angeles based trio have created their own unique sound, marrying pop sensibilities with bold rock’n’roll and gritty urban beats. With each member hailing from various cultural backgrounds, WOLVES have crafted their own distinct style, shaping the sound of pop culture as we know it.
“We wondered what it would be like if we took all these different influences we loved—artists like Michael Jackson, the Eagles, Coldplay—and rolled them all into one band today,” Sands muses. Their eclectic influences proved to be inspirational, with their debut single ‘Animal’ giving the trio their signature explosive sound.
The band was named after the characteristics of wolves. These majestic animals which are bonded by an innate sense of the pack, move in harmony as one unit towards common goals. “I can’t think of a better way to describe us. The three of us are all about the good of the group; every day we try to embody that philosophy in our music and beyond.” remarks Avery.
WOLVES highly anticipated single 'Freaky' is an anthem to inspire others to be brave and embrace who you are, to share your inner-most desires with the world and to live life to the fullest. Featuring slick indie pop grooves, 90’s reminiscent hip hop and hard-hitting rhythms, ‘Freaky’ is a song that you can’t help but dance to. "We love listening to music from back in the day and try to re-imagine what it would sound like today.” reveals Carney.
From the primal energy of ‘Animal' to the seductive tones in ‘Freaky’, WOLVES have crafted a wildly diverse range of music built for pop radio and stadiums alike. Having already earned top spots on the Billboard charts and heavy rotation on Sirius XM Hits 1, the trio hopes to inspire audiences across the globe with their music, and to continue creating unforgettable songs that at once nod to the past and hurtle towards the future.

We kicked off summer (Memorial Day) with a hot spring in our dance steps. Eddie Caldwell got wet for the first time in the Hunnypot tub to tell us about how the heck he got here. Bogan Via boogied down via slow synth dance tunes. Raven Artson was high art musical melodies, son. Highschool Jacob made us want to ditch class and fall in love. Ward kept away the evil non-rock spirits and the night finished with a Soul-Stice Dance Party. 5/27/19

Raven Artson lives for music. The Dutch singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, producer and composer landed in his first band when he was only nine years old. While growing up, Raven was entering a defining period of musical exploration, showing himself the ropes of how to do it. Most prominently Raven has been drumming and producing for Mozes and the Firstborn, but also provided production for the likes of Ray Fuego, Yung Nnelg and Pip Blom and has his fair share in composing movie-soundtracks, among which Madja Amin’s Stray Sheep. He coordinates his own creative direction, while being in interdisciplinary dialogue with directors, photographers and designers. Raven’s deep musical immersion and hefty back catalogue shine through in the versatility of his solo work and his on-stage performance. Self-taught, driven but humble, Raven is readying his debut project ‘Peak In Me’.
As a true master of melody, Raven’s music is sweet and easy. His bold voice is always at the center of the music - crooning free above glistening instrumentation. Aside from his strong pop-sensibility, Raven has plenty of musical experiments up his sleeves. He whips up a perfect mixture of variations, lacing his songs and performance with clever left-turns and sudden musical shifts. Lush woodwind sections, tight drums and heartfelt vocal lines all blend seamlessly into a rich and psychedelic musical palette. Raven’s music and personality find middle ground in being grand and ambitious, while still being tangible and down to earth. Inhabiting the stage on his lonesome in a double-breasted suit, Raven is voicing his heart without any filter. Tear-dripping auto-tune with a supremely romantic quality.

In early 2016, Ward knew he wasn’t living the life he longed for. So, he quit his job as an Internet technology executive in Manhattan, left New York, and moved to LA to embrace a musical career. Since then, Ward’s music has rapidly taken Los Angeles by storm, writing dozens of new songs, packing live shows, cutting a new EP and growing a fan base of tens of thousands online. Ward’s lyrics consider life’s demands, choices and regrets. His broad vocal range rests atop of a blend 80’s modern rock, grunge, Manchester, and psychedelic rock. Born and raised in California, and known simply as “Ward” to his friends, he was inspired as a young boy to write songs after hearing Tom Petty's Full Moon Fever on the radio. He immediately went out and bought an old Stratocaster. By the time he was 12 years old, he was churning out original songs and booking live local shows — beginning a lifelong journey with music that has led up to where he is today.
Ward is just getting started. He would love to partner with fantastic composers, songwriters and live musicians for upcoming recordings, videos and live performances in 2018. As well, he is actively writing and producing music for licensing opportunities.
Hunnypot Live is imposing a tariff on those who don't wash their legs in the shower. Whatever, show 5/13/19 was awesome. . . . Hot Tub Johnnie flipped on the lights with a booty primer DJ set. PLVNK banged us with super hooks and high energy. MZ Neon chewed us up and out while spitting dirty grime rhymes. Player Won leveled us up with positive party hip hop and Hot Tub closed the night with a world famous dance party. 5/13/2019

Rapper JohnBoyCool is a fast rising star within the Compton Hip Hop community - you can see him surrounded by his peers on the cover of Kendrick Lamar's 'To Pimp A Butterfly' album; he and his Pirate GVNG crew have been featured on Vice TV's "Noisey," as a straight up rap artist he's opened for acts like 2 Chainz - but for his latest project PLVNK (pronounced Plank) he wanted to explore other sounds and styles.
"Where I went to middle school, I had a bunch of rocker friends. I was listening to Blink 182, Nirvana. I always loved the sound of drums and guitars..."
A chance meeting led to a collab with Israeli singer Nachum Peterseil (frontman for Automatic Toys, an alt-rock group with a love of all things electronic.) Despite coming from completely different backgrounds and cultures, the two vocalists found that had a lot in common ("He literally survived wars...and I have my own stories to tell".)
After a series of successful live shows, plans were set in motion for writing sessions to continue that vibe. 'JB' brought in Joey Mora (a.k.a. 'The Klassiks', a maverick Hip Hop and Dance music producer), whilst Nachum drafted Automatic Toys drummer Sir Mal, a UK recording artist with a list of credits including Pete Yorn and Andy Allo.
"We've got the rapper telling his stories; this old-school, rocking lead vocalist from Israel, the hopeless romantic from London...from the beat, the producer - they're putting in what they've been through. Love and Life and Society. This music crosses boundaries...it's for Everybody, not just this or that community...different friends, kids, your Grandma!"

Combining the lush richness of a film score, the rhythm section of a rock band, and the introspective storytelling of underground rap, Memento is a hip-hop artist from the San Francisco Bay Area.
He loosely categorizes his music as “hip-hop with an indie rock sensibility” — meaning that he uses live instruments and records his vocals within a few takes to capture raw, genuine emotion. Memento avoids the use of studio trickery in order to achieve authenticity, and always believes that less is more.
He approaches his music with the mindset of a composer: he wants the instruments to say what the words are saying, without the words. In order to do this, he pays great attention to detail while crafting his melodies and rhythms. Once the instrumental can express the emotion on its own, Memento paints a picture through his stories, his emotions, and his observations, all while maintaining a brutal honesty.

Tapping the deepest roots of rock n roll, Primal Kings take your favorite audio dishes and deconstruct them, using the tastiest ingredients to create a flavor that is brand new and yet somehow familiar. Their debut, eponymous, record comes to the table awash in aromas of primitive grooves grown in dark, fertile tonal dirt, and gives us a generous helping of heartfelt reflections of lives well lived … warts and all. It excites the pallet while it satisfies like our most beloved comfort food.
Primal Kings was forged in the fires of a 5 year quest to create a full length, fully analog, LP. The journey began when indie, blues/roots/rock singer songwriter, Chris Wilson enlisted the help of veteran engineer/producer, Lenise Bent (Aja, Breakfast in America, Tusk, Autoamerican) to help him capture the raw energy of the band, then known as the Barrelhouse Kings, that had been wowing audiences in LA clubs. The lineup then included incendiary guitarist Jed Ojeda, thunderous drummer Paul Cassarino, and infinitely inventive bassist, Roger Upchurch, and it was this 4 piece unit that walked into Entourage Studios for a 2 and half day marathon session that yielded the primary tracks for the album.
What followed was the long journey toward completion of a fully realized record. Along the way, Wilson recruited his long time writing and performing partner, Scott Pontius, a strong analog engineer in his own right, to lend his musical, vocal, and technical talents to the cause. The journey was long and arduous, and some were lost along the way. Cutting tracks by hook or by crook, cobbling together gear, and even going so far as to weld together DIY plate reverb units, is not for the feint of heart; and in the end only Wilson, Bent, Upchurch, and Pontius remained. The result was the creation of Elsewhere Studios, and the birth of Primal Kings.
Now, armed with digital masters honed by Warren Sokol at Universal Mastering, Wilson, Upchurch and Pontius set out to retake the stage, as Primal Kings, in support of the album they have so lovingly fostered, and to raise the funds to complete their dream of pressing vinyl and releasing a truly analog LP. With a live show that channels the raw energy that sparked it all, while faithfully representing their carefully crafted debut album, Primal Kings shows will leave you simultaneously satisfied, and craving more.
